I can't even remember seeing someone leave an MM game in the last year or more at ge/smfc. Kicked multiple brainlets to get a bot but that's different, they didn't leave by their own choice.
I wonder what Valve is gonna do now that CSGO mapping is almost dead for good. I had predicted this, and the reasons are clear. There may be enough for one last operation but then there truly won't be enough for another one.
Why is mapping dead? I didn't followed the main events on CSGO for some time
Basically, lack of incentive for making high-quality maps. Making a map that has even a chance to be considered for an operation is a very long process. The map must have unique visuals (preferably with original assets), it must have an original and fun level design, and it must be virtually flawless. Making that kind of map takes at the very least several months. And after it's done, Valve will get to decide on a whim whether your map makes it into the next operation. If it doesn't, your map will only be played daily by a few players in the best case, on custom servers. If it does, then it will be played by a large part of the playerbase but only for a few months, before fading into obscurity like all the other maps that didn't make it. And even if it made it into an operation, there's a fair chance that a lot of players dislike your map. Then your map will be worse off than if it hadn't got chosen by Valve, like that happened a few times. In the best possible case, your map is so successful, replayable, tactically interesting and well-liked that it stays permanently, like Cache. There are several hundreds of worthy maps on the Workshop that wished they could even get in a single operation. tl;dr the effort-to-reward ratio is terrible. Add to that the fact that Valve is making less and less operations and that people never know when or if there's be a new one, and people are getting tired of working day in day out for a map that Valve won't maybe even look at. Last fall, the MapCore contest was a final push to try to fix that, and it worked, but with no sign of Valve since then, no one is sure if it was worth it at all in the end.
They should really just find 50 maps or so and randomly rotate them as fun maps. every few days. Even maps like fy_buzzkill could be fun to trough as a ranked 5v5 match
I'd love ANYTHING that allows players to play ranked matches on custom maps. But Valve apparently hates the idea.

Think the best thing is he got the official NiP twitter hard.
Did people actually fall for it? It's fucking Don Haci lmao
Hey, at least it brought the CSGO twitter out of slumber https://twitter.com/csgo_dev/status/995472599479078912
decent crosshair placement The man in this clip in the post you were replying to is now VAC banned https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5G9uaA7qLc Steam Community https://files.catbox.moe/13lted.png
I never said he wasn't cheating, I just said that the clip was doable without cheats and therefore wasn't conclusive.
I agree its good to give other players the benefit of the doubt when it comes to cheating, and not be to quick to jump to conclusions. But i am not sure how that clip can even get remotely close to being legit somehow
32 tick demos make all fast movements look far snappier than they were including flicks. If you pull of a really fast, human flick the demo will reduce it down to a snapping motion because it will only have two or three datapoints for the whole movement. Without having either a 128 tick pov demo or their pov recorded, you can't tell if it was that or an aimbot snap because both compress down to the same thing.
ESL Facebook Non facebook stream of the EPL finals for those who don't know.
General question because the current situation is completely fucked up: how many get banned on average? because, you know.... https://cloud.plaster.pw/u/18.05.21-00.05.15.png

Prime or nonprime? If that is indeed prime then I've fucking called it when they introduced it that it's not going to help at all.
Hmm, I'm playing on prime and I haven't seen that many bans. Last VAC ban was 28 games ago or 10th of March at this moment.
It's prime
People are starting to get banned more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36aDu9xdPWg
Holy shit comparing classic nuke to this new casual nuke is making me cry. No vent to b, no catwalk, half of rafter is gone, roof windows on a site are fucked, toxic removed, no savespot behind garage, no elevated props to jump ontop of in lobby, no window in blue hut, additional camper spots added on lobby roof, playermovement stopping ledges fucking everywhere. Give me my favorite map back you witless cunts all the pros hate it anyways so why fuck over the actual playerbase it has...
So apparently my 3000+ hour, 900+ comp win, all operations since phoenix, 7 year old, 77 game account has low trust factor
How do you know?
Last update added warnings if you queue with people who have a significantly lower trust factor than the other user.
Holy shit, now I wanna install cs again just to compare my trust factor epeen with others.
My guess is that I get reported a lot by the kind of people who think that any headshot is cheating
