looks less like low sens and more like tiny mousepad
500dpi 1 sens.
About half a week ago I was suddenly extremely fucking good and went from silver 4 to gold nova 2 in a single day, and at the end of that night, I could've still easily went on if I didn't head to sleep.
I was able to hit headshots without any issue, just felt natural, was able tap shoot no problem, and had great gamesense. I don't know how to describe it, but it just felt right.
Natural. Like it was something that I just knew how to do.
Day after and all the way until today, i'm not able to hit anywhere near as many shots. Don't know what it was that did it, but I was in the zone.
Has anyone else had that kind of experience before? If so, how'd you figure out to get back into it?
Try and replicate all the conditions you had before. Showered, well rested, had some food, water, etc

Im nopro but you just start to doubt yourself resulting in a panic and losing the timetables of the weapons spray pattern and rest, which ultimately fucks you over. You just need to calm down. Cs punishes panicking so much.

And then your teammates start shouting "WTF ARE YOU DOING IDIOT" then you just trash everything altogether and start shooting at enemies without believing that you can do it, you take every single engagement to just die quick so you can spectate your shitty teammates instead of actually trying. This goes on until next match where you get vocal teammates, you start to do a couple of cooperations here and there, and THEN you start to get mad clutches all over the place

Back when I was around MG2 I had a streak of 3 matches where I somehow achieved enlightenment and had some ethereal gamesense, had the timings for my peeks on point for all 3 matches and I could read the enemy and predict where they would go/be almost perfectly. I even got accused for walling due to the peeks and rotations. Then again this was MG2 so I'm sure chubbs would love to comment on this about "MG2 being predictable shitters with no reactions anyways". But back then I was playing on the same level as them, which is completely different from looking at it from high ranks and shrugging it off as nothing and "you should be able to consistently do that anyways".
That said I've never gotten into that same kind of zone gamesense-wise, sometimes gotten into the zone aim-wise for a match or two but nothing spectacular.

Along with what the two people below you said, i'll try to take heed to what's been said. Hopefully it will work.
First game in about a week and two of my teammates abandon round 6 or so (at the same time)
Still top frag and get 8-16
My second guy got about what I did but our third was trash.
I suddenly remember why I did not play for a week.

Sorry for the danish chatter and horrible quality, had to cut the video online.

Also, what program should i be looking to get into to stretch/crop/cut/edit sound and so on?
render the demo with the built-in demo recorder then use your video editing program of choice to sync the frames up to the audio

Thats the problem, i dont have a video editing software of choice

The most straightforward would probably be ffmpeg
ffmpeg -i audio.wav -i frame_%d.tga -framerate n test.mkv
That should work if you give it the output from the demo renderer. Note that I didn't specify the codecs or quality settings so it'll probably mangle it with a preset, but you can change that on your own.

Wouldnt it be easier to find the part of the demo i want to use, then use an external recording software to record the part im watching?
[editline]24th December 2016[/editline]
Im not making high end youtube videos here, dont think it matters that the quality isnt perfect

This can occur for many reasons, some games you can completely be on the ball and the next you'll be in the gutter, this is just the nature of PUGs like MM games, you have no idea how your enemies play and vice versa, they way you play might be entirely different from the way that they play which can lead to you punishing them or them punishing you.
I play a really aggressive, stupid style and it catches a lot of people off-guard, but some games I'll just bottom frag because they'll wait for me to do something dumb.

You could do that, but it's not any easier. All you need to do is load your demo, skip to the correct tick and put the following in console: sv_cheats 1, cl_drawonlydeathnotices 1, host_framerate <tickrate>, startmovie "movie_"
also this way you can record at native res with nice graphics settings whilst still having a consistent framerate
that shit is way too complicated
[editline]25th December 2016[/editline]
this aint no sparkles shit
at the very least do cl_drawonlydeathnotices 1
having the demo overlay on your clips just looks shit

There ya go, much better

Still on low settings, but didnt wanna fuck around with it all night
anyone here checking out Counter-Strike: Classic Offensive? just played a couple rounds on one of the only servers running yet and it felt pretty good. can't say it felt like true 1.6, but then again the ModDB page doesn't advertise it as such, merely trying to find the best balance between the new and old game
if you want to play 1.6 then play 1.6

But goldsrc is terrible in terms of mouse sensitivity and stuff.
But goldsrc is terrible in terms of mouse sensitivity and stuff.
implying source isnt lmao
at least in goldsrc you can hold 300fps constant which helps a lot
But goldsrc is terrible in terms of mouse sensitivity and stuff.
GoldSrc is way better in mouse responsiveness than Source is, I have no idea what you're on about.

Maybe it's just the The Specialists but m_rawinput plain doesn't work. It's also missing useful things like windowed noborder. Generally just harder to work with.
complains about mouse input handling and then uses windowed noborder are you off your tits
mmm dat aero input lag 👌

you cant even remove it on win10

It would be kind of difficult to remove something that isn't there

I don't play with m_rawinput, but regardless, the only thing that you will get out of it is slightly less overhead. Use the noforce params to disable EPP and input feels fine.
As for the input lag argument, it's not Aero that has any effect on mouse feeling, it's DWM which forces double buffering on every window on the desktop and will not display frames that are not fully rendered, this causes multiple frames of input delay, fullscreen overrides this option. You shouldn't be playing any game in windowed or fullscreen windowed if you're trying to play at any level above casual.
Oh, and my polling jitter is way higher on Windows 10 than on Windows 7, a lot more bloat in Win10 but if you optimize it, it's pretty much fine.
