Model confused you, silly IDF hats don't count as the head.

For one of the most balanced maps in the game they sure picked the faction with the shittiest model.

After getting tired of people bitching about me occasionally choking in a 1 v whatever scenario despite me consistently pulling off shots every other round, I've decided to run a social experiment. I changed my name to something akin to "talk trash and I start using a 360 controller" and surprisingly nobody's talked shit yet
I'm not even lying either, got my 360 controller set up right now

Progress update: Finally had my first shit talker. Was a 13 y/o kid who I guess didn't believe me. I was top fragging all the way till the end of the game too. I got more kills with my 360 controller than he did in the first half :v:
He was trying to talk shit all the way to the bitter end but man he had nothing to talk shit about. Every bad aim was a result of the controller, I didn't care if he kicked me or we won or lost because it's an alt specifically because I don't want to lose my main's rank from this shit, I missed a few AWP shots and he started saying how I was trash and then I dropped both my awp and glock and still won the round, etc.
Dude got his asshole ripped apart.
trolling on a smurf because you don't want to lose your mains rank just means that you're a pussy tbh

Good thing you can't troll on that smurf of yours because you're too busy tryharding for frags
Good thing you can't troll on that smurf of yours because you're too busy tryharding for frags
only pussies try to win no matter what
I just frag, if I'm not dying and I'm killing people then we can't lose the game. Both of those are pretty rare though.

But loosing a rank is even less fun than griefing already is.

Unless you mean casual trolling when playing with friends then yeah you're a pussy

I'd rather not fuck with people in prime matchmaking or end up lowering the ranks we're playing against when I five-man with friends.
Besides, I'm not doing shit wrong until people start talking shit and ruining the gameplay experience in the first place. I'm not smurfing, it's a legit ranked account, it's just that I don't really care if I lose a rank on it because it's one I use for solo queuing if my friends aren't playing.
Smurf is smurf, people don't care if you only solo on it.
Smurf is smurf, people don't care if you only solo on it.
I was pretty sure smurfs were people playing on ranks lower than their actual one and deranked for the sole purpose of stomping the other team, which isn't even close to what I'm doing, but okay.

That's what smurfs actually are, except so many people are using the word mainly to describe an alternative account that is only being used for playing csgo, no mater what rank the main is.
alt=smurf
[editline]29th December 2016[/editline]
If I for example had an supreme account, how would I say the opposite of smurf? Saying "alternative account" is too long so just saying smurf is easier, even if the actual meaning is not the same.

I dunno, let's not be too radical, maybe the word "alt?"
I mean "smurf" is longer than that so why does that slang even exist then
[editline]a[/editline]
Google's telling me that my initial definition I came into the thread with was correct so

Yeah, tell a random player you have an alt and watch as they don't understand what you mean with that.
I'm more addressing the fact that the word has somehow formed a more extended meaning inside of csgo. Also, at least here in EU, no mater what language you speak in everyone by now knows what smurf means.

I have never run into someone that doesn't understand the terms "alt" or "alt acc" regardless of what rank or game I'm playing.

Doesn't surprise me as I think everyone in your country can speak English pretty fluently. Compared to here you have a 70% chance that they won't speak English, and if they do you can barely understand what they're trying to say.

I do believe you in that being a pretty heavy factor in whether or not they understand the term, we do get BRs on a pretty regular basis who only say "noob" though and that's pretty annoying, but in Europe that's every game with Russians. :v: I play with Chubbs sometimes and the amount of Russians who are actually clueless and speak zero English makes me want to pull my hair out.

This is plaster you're talking to.
Had 2 people go AFK in competetive when we were winning 10-3, couldn't vote kick them even though the vote was 3-1 and so we had to slowly lose, who thought it would be a good idea cancel votes even with a yes majority
This is plaster you're talking to.
I still avoid talking in russian whenever possible because if I just say one word in russian they'll go "oh shit my dude you're russian too? how are you doing man etc etc"
Some guy named neL working for some french news site is reporting on an incoming french team that includes kennyS, shox, NBK, apEX, and bodyy, with SmithZz as coach. Got retweeted by DeKay, which is about as legitimizing as Twitter reports go, as far as I know. If true then that team should definitely have every tool it needs to compete as a top team. Even sacrificing fragging power in ScreaM to get a solid small site anchor and more support minded player in bodyy, assuming ScreaM was available, and I can't imagine why he wouldn't be. Also would be the first time kenny and shox have ever played together as far as I know. Hope it's legit.

Would be nice if the voting system was slightly tied to the party one, where if you were solo-queuing you'd need 4 votes to be kicked and if you were in a party you only needed 3.
Can't really keep going past that though because then you only need a minority vote to be kicked off.
I've used CSGO Gamestate Integration with my room lights and this is what I ended up with.

Currently, I've implemented:
Team Colors (Based on which team/side you're on)
Bomb timer (Increases blink rate as time goes)
Main Menu when CSGO is started.
Defuse/Explosion (Green if Defused, Red if Exploded)
Hoping to add eventually:
Health based lighting
Game winning lighting (party time)
Looking for more ideas/suggestions?
The lights should flash white while, well, flashed, and they should shut down while in smoke.
Nice games are nice :)

Oh the stuff you see on overwatch... From people casually looking at walls lining up shots and casually shooting people through smokes as if they weren't there at all, to full blown "who cares, they already know" peeps who pull out scouts or autos and shoot through every surface possible straight to the head...
Even seen one that actually ticked all the boxes in the report... Had shameless aimbot and wallhack, bunnyhoped like crazy while changing views upside down and stuff, and even lost a round on purpose.
So I'm on an extremely limited internet connection, I'm talking 64kbps download cap kind of limited, and Steam does this when I launch CS:GO:

50kbps wouldn't matter to any other type of connection, but this completely fucks me and launches my ping even on a server that has like 25 normally to 500. No other multiplayer game on Steam does this, KF2, Terraria, Dark Souls 3 to give varied examples.
How do I stop CS:GO from killing the internet when it launches itself?
