Seeing a spike in cheaters this week. Got so annoyed decided to do a case of overwatch. Suspect was walling his ass off. Enemy probably got pissed and he toggled his spinbot. Suspect's teammate in response turn on his own spinbot. What a lovely game :v:

Win your next (2) game while maintaining a top 3 placing in the scoreboard and you will likely rank up. Don't sweat it.
Yeah it's okay, I shook it off. Oh well lol
Please help me
I can play at around 120-86fps even if there are many players or smokes. But sometimes after a round change the fps will suddenly drop to 30-20 and it will stay there for the whole round. It also happens after death (either mine or spectating) the fps never drops in the middle of a round, only after a round change or after death and it will go back up after another round change or death (not necessarily the next one). Can someone help me it's really affecting my performance.
Okay, CSGO and Drinking does not work for me.
In one evening I managed to get to LE and then derank back to DMG.
My last game was at around 5 AM and apparently I had 0 kills and ~18 deaths.

Steam Server problemo...
If you lose a game how is your elo/rank affected based on:
A) Your score / MVPs
B) If anyone on your team has abandoned the match
For example, lets say someone on my team abandoned and we won ten rounds and the other team won fifteen. My personal score is above 60 - would I still be at risk for deranking?

Biggest impact comes from winning/losing. The rest has minuscule impact.

rank difference is a big factor. If your team has eagles or other low ranks on it and you get matched against 5 globals losing will barely affect your rank.

So in that situation would it be better to just abandon as well?

Based on conjecture and understanding of glicko-2 (valve's heavily modified version so I can't say much without the actual algorithm), it's based on your personal performance. Your score does play a very big part of it (top 3 in the scoreboard and you are in the "safe zone" so to speak).
B) If anyone on your team has abandoned the match
This part is where it gets tricky. Hard to guess what actually happens to your MMR in relation to someone abandoning the match.
For example, lets say someone on my team abandoned and we won ten rounds and the other team won fifteen. My personal score is above 60 - would I still be at risk for deranking?
Yes and No. I believe the game assess a player's strength based on series of 2 games. If your score is above 60 then the risk of you deranking is not that high but it matters a lot on how well you do for your next game so good luck!
It's all my conjecture though so make of that what you will. Perhaps someone who in the know can correct me.

After someone has abandoned you can surrender so you dont get an abandon penalty.
But all we have for how the rank system works is a valve dev saying it's loosely based on glicko-2 in a reddit post and alot of anecdotal evidence.

I play better drunk.
My map awareness is pretty shit, but my focus is through the fucking roof.

from my experiments where we tried losing 5 times in a row vs abandoning games 5 times in a row, abandoning is far less worse for your rank. So, some shithead on your team just gave up and left and you 4 have no chance in winning anymore? don't bother, just abandon.

no need to stress yourself through the whole match even though the outcome was already set the second the guy abandoned the match.

Nobody plays better drunk. They think they do but they don't.

I wish a rep from Valve tell us what the hell is going on.

who waited the longest time
Strange, I managed to find a game (after a few attempts) yesterday.

It's the same thing as going into a ranked game and only using the Glock/USP, you're wasting the time of everyone on your team who's trying to win.
So how long does it take to move from nova 1 to nova 2? Almost all of my games since ranking up have been like this:

what am i meant to be seeing in that video
what video?
anyway, if you're doing those kinds of scores every game darksoul, you should rank up within 2-3 games.
