ah yes the old faithfuls, little else to argue about so defaulting to correcting grammar/punctuation or arguing about cs ranks can u all just stop
I wasn't the one bringing up matchmaking ranks in the first place, I just don't understand what the point is in bringing up (and trying to flex about) matchmaking ranks, telling people to derank to silver as if it's of any relevance.
aren't you the guy who baits in pugs then posts screenshots when he loses complaining about how he lost the game even with his 30+ exit frags or was that the other dude with the polar bear avatar
I believe the dude you are talking about doesn't even have a polar bear avatar.
Can we all stop crying...thx
Can we all stop crying...thx
CVISION.NET AND U KNOW ALWAYS VAC AND NOW U KNOW
I find this whole discussion on cheats to be thoroughly depressing. Just let us play the game without having to worry about being seen through walls or insta-headshotted from across a map ;_;
Such is life in the zone.
aren't you the guy who baits in pugs then posts screenshots when he loses complaining about how he lost the game even with his 30+ exit frags or was that the other dude with the polar bear avatar
If you're thinking of me I haven't posted any games recently except a rankup and ages ago some NUEL games. I think you're confused.
...Did you...did you read my post? He was addresing something ENTIRELY different than you're attempting to argue, he was arguing your point of "Only pussies try to win" if you make two points in a single post, REGARDLESS of if they're connected to the same thing, he can address a single point without caring to address the other. You're acting like being an MG1 is impressive and telling people who are much, much better than you are legit to derank if the GAME IS TOO HARD :((( when that was never the point being argued.
You're telling someone that his opinion isn't valid because he has yet to master a video-game. He's telling the cheaters of this thread to derank because he presumes(naturally) that you're a bunch of salty NEETs that can't handle losing games as you begin to approach a skill-group in which you fit and get challenged. The sad thing is, if that isn't why you're cheating, it's because you enjoy attention and don't get enough of it in you day to day life. (This is what I believe, and what your loli avatar screams.)
No reason to be ashamed that you experimented with cheating in an online video game, pretty much everyone I have ever met and talked to about cheating has experimented with it, when there's so much cheating in the game eventually you will either get curious about why people cheat and try it yourself, or get salty and cheat because you got cheated on in a match. It's just how it goes.
There's plenty reason to be ashamed of cheating in video-games, primarily the fact that your character is weak and easily shaped by your surroundings. Also please explain me and my approach. I've been playing online shooters for 18 years, I have yet to cheat yet I have played with probably thousands of cheater. Why haven't I gone salty and started cheating? Why haven't I gotten curious and experimented? [sp]It's because I have standards[/sp]
I tried aimbotting in source. Was meh for an hour until I got vacbanned. But you know, shit personality, obvious disorders etc. etc. Some cheat for shits and giggles and reactions (no different from trolling, really). Some cheat because there's money on the line (if you think this is CS specifc you're crazy - it applies to many real life sports as well). Some cheat because... they do, maybe they think they deserve better, maybe they just don't feel like it impacts anything at all. The only point I made with my post is the whole "only pussies try to win no matter what" meme is dumb and has relatively little to do with cheating. At high competitive levels, if you let up for a milisecond, you're going to lose, HARD. And cheats don't even play part in it. Be mad at cheats if you want too, but isn't raging about it and crying on internet forums about as immature as hacking? It's a fairly similar thing. So don't stand on a pedestal because you don't cheat, it doesn't make you special if you're literally part of the 99% that doesn't.

Why haven't I gone salty and started cheating? Why haven't I gotten curious and experimented? [sp]It's because I have standards[/sp]
I play games because I enjoy a fair challenge. If I flip on cheats in a game, sure it's novel for a while, but I get bored of it: it's too easy. The appeal of the challenge and self-improvement is lost. But with habitual cheaters, I suppose there's one thing that they can get from it: attention and the feeling of being superior. Even though the means are unfair and underhanded, they're the winners and people will react to them. Most already know it's unfair, which puts them in the wrong, so they rationalize it somehow. Things like: "Everybody else does it", "I'm not hurting anybody", "Why should I care about strangers?", and "It's okay, they made me mad".
Be mad at cheats if you want too, but isn't raging about it and crying on internet forums about as immature as hacking? It's a fairly similar thing. One's social, one's antisocial.
Expressing displeasure is significantly different from extrapolating personality quirks from a single detail. Understandable people do it in affect, but you can't expect shit to be an echo chamber for you 24/7. And to make this perfectly clear - I don't mean anyone much offence (some, yes, because frankly, shit's getting a bit stale), but things are hardly as simple as it seems. I've had people threaten to sue me for recording a TS conversation. Some other guy had his bike trashed for scamming a 2€ AK skin from someone (unconfirmed he actually did so). And one person got beat up for cheating. Antisocial works both ways.
How is run'n'gun still a working strat Played three games today, every match had one of those people who could hs you from topmid while running with the ak. I'm all for being placed in the right skill group, but because of shit like this it just disgusts me how they're in LE.
-snip- chill guys it's just a video game lmao

A mate got jumping head shotted today on overpass. Fucker jumped right through a smoke and flicks to him and head shots him while soaring like a limp eagle through the site.
I don't know how you can screw up this badly (friends game).
Not really sure what the issue is - are you asking how it's possible to draw?
It went from 12-3 to 15-15. I've been in worse though.
goddamn so much people in faceit that are toxic asf depresses me how sad some people are
goddamn so much people in faceit that are toxic asf depresses me how sad some people are
Daily reminder that most people play on faceit because either they don't want to lose their rank or they have a 7d ban
Daily reminder that most people play on faceit because either they don't want to lose their rank or they have a 7d ban
Even on premium?
Even on premium?
I doubt that people pay for premium just to throw games
Even on premium?
Premium just means they spent money. FaceIT in general is a weird mixed bag. Anything up to level 5 is a godawful mess. 6-9 are all over the place and levels mean nothing, 10 is half cheaters, half who stomp your face in. I've had better experiences with premium but in general if you're going to spend money, ESEA seems like far better value. At least they don't try to sneakily force you to buy premium like FaceIT does. Client AC only if you pay? Yeah fuck off, never seeing any of my money again.
Does anyone have any actual experience with ESEA EU for people that aren't god tier GE players? I was thinking of trying it but I'm defo not the best player (however I'm not paper 7), should I just stick to MM until I'm significantly better? And how toxic are people?
Does it take a noticeable toll on performance to record a POV demo? All my demos look like this and it's pissing me off

It's pretty decent as long as you're not dogshit.
-nevermind-

Just to add to the cheating conversation: I've literally never cheated in a video game, ever. I don't see the point. It just takes the whole fun thing out of it, no? That the things you're achieving aren't your own. The cheating mindset baffles me.

CSGO is the kind of game that I play strictly to challenge myself and analyse my skill. Cheating would be like, if I was fat, buying a weighing scale to rig it so I can be proud of losing non-existent weight.
