:(
I keep getting drunk finns during the weekend.
Virtus.Pro never fails to disappoint, they mow down Tier 1 teams but struggle with a mid/low Tier2 team

I entered a Finnish TS room once, one was hosting a party sitting in his livingroom broadcasting everything with his mic. Never again.

At least they aren't nip... losing to CIS t3 teams
Did either team say anything about how they prepared for the match? I wouldn't be surprised if VP didn't study kinguin that carefully then got destroyed by a team who analyzed their every round.

I think it's just more of VP's attitude. They're known for playing at their opponents level, so no matter how good or bad the enemy team is, they'll play at an equal level.
VP is so bad against underdogs
[editline]15th January 2017[/editline]
I remember when they got demolished by VG.Cyberzen in Starladder
Eugh I just got an overwatch case where the entire team was hacking (specifically some blatant aimbot)
I mean it made my job really easy but I hate seeing this shit because I know the other team had to deal with them until it ended.
They probably just went afk or started throwing the game, why bother trying to fight

There's a good reason people call them Virtus.throw

I think they might've surrendered. One guy left round 1 and it didn't feel like the full length of an overwatch case.

Had this happen to me some time ago...
YouTube signed a contract with WESA to get a monopoly on the english streams of Pro League
http://www.wesa.gg/2017/01/13/wesa-partners-with-youtube-for-2017-csgo-pro-league/
YouTube will be the new streaming partner for Pro League Seasons 5 and 6 and will exclusively stream the English-language broadcast. Other languages will still be distributed on additional platforms. To celebrate this new relationship, Pro League will stream a re-run of one Pro League Final (Seasons 1-4) per weekend on YouTube starting Friday, January 13, to ease the waiting time until the start of Season 5 on February 7.
Doesn't youtube/google own twitch? What the fuck is the point
Doesn't youtube/google own twitch? What the fuck is the point
Google owns twitch yes, but afaik the management didn't change when the ownership changed
+ it isn't uncommon for 2 companies owned by the same parent company to compete with each other

Sorry to go slightly offtopic, but I thought Amazon owns twitch instead of Google? When did that change?

Oh I haven't followed it in a while, guess that makes more sense then
How good is YouTube's streaming? The only stuff I've watched is hangout integration stuff and that's always low quality but that might be the upload speeds of the people doing it.
[editline]16th January 2017[/editline]
Twitch losing its monopoly was inevitable but I just hope some form of free broadcasting is always available. I don't want to have to buy sky for csgo.
YouTube's streaming is actually equal or better than Twitch generally. It's just not as popular, but hopefully that will change.
streaming to youtube is surprisingly good but you have to get used to the new dashboard as it's a little more confusing at first glance. I'd take youtube over twitch with beam.pro being a close second.
As someone with really shitty Internet to the point where I can't watch streams on twitch 85% of the time because of constant buffering even on lowest quality, I have to say that Youtube streaming is usually a better experience

It doesn't give you insanely obnoxious amounts of CPU usage for a start.
But it wont pick up too much steam because of no chat and people migrating to a different platform. Twitch has a massive userbase that, while it is on youtube, just doesn't go there for streams.
Just stream to Facebook
I just gotta post this

I'm sure this is considered self-harm.
Just had one of the closest games of my life probably.
Enemy team had some proper smurf/cheater kind of shit with 120 hours (Take a guess who)

First half: 8:7 (us losing)
on 23rd round team mate left (probably thought its over) so it was 5v4 now.
2nd half 23rd round: 14:10 but luckly I somehow clutched in panic because enemies rushed all into Jungle and one burned himself on molotov.
One hell of a shit for me.
Had my best CT side performance the other day, although my T side was awful:

Very happy with getting 30 kills in one half though.
