I've added a few recommended FFA/Retake server hosts to the OP, if anyone has any more they'd like to suggest feel free.
He's cheating because he sprayed his graffiti? You wot m8
I believe he meant like the cheater is willingly to risk using his graffiti spray while holding an angle cos he knows no one from the opposing team is coming in his surrounding area. He's not saying it's a defining factor that he cheats solely based on that.
IWe're not actively promoting people to cheat and its just discussion on about what the guy was doing, having points raised from both sides is constructive to come to the conclusion that he was.
There's a difference between explaining a point of view on the subject of "is he hacking" and going "when I hack this is how I don't get caught."

Have you considered that the best people at catching cheaters generally are people who cheat themselves or whom have cheated in the past, thereby making their input more valuable in these discussions? Hell pros back in 1.6 times would actually cheat in pubs so that they could better learn how cheaters would play and be able to spot them.
I also highly doubt that anyone would use Facepunch to learn to config their cheat to be non-blatant when there are actual cheating forums which they could go to to learn about such things on instead.

You're misunderstanding what I said. He explained
a point of view on the subject of "is he hacking"
and then he went
when I hack this is how I don't get caught.
and the latter is what I'm criticizing. Not for because some random guy on the forum might go "oh I see so the way I don't get caught is I don't use them while alive who would've thought" but because at that point we're getting into "yeah we get it you hack I don't care" territory

If you don't care that he hacks then why do you care if he posts about it?
If you don't care that he hacks then why do you care if he posts about it?
because this isn't a cheating forum
because this isn't a cheating forum
yeah this isn't a cheating forum, but why would you not allow the discussion of cheats.
[editline]21st January 2017[/editline]
don't just ignore the fact that a lot of people hack in csgo, stop lying to yourself
I would say talking about cheats should be forbidden solely because it turns the thread to shit for a few pages but I'm not an admin, have gotten used to the shit-to-not-shit ratio, and banning a topic because members can't handle it is a bit harsh. However, I personally don't mind people explaining how cheats work and helping devs patch exploits; making the game less enjoyable for other players for money is a completely different subject though.
the thread turns to shit for a few pages anyways when any of the following are mentioned/discussed
- Smurfing
- Cheating
- Boosting
- Plaster
- Griefing
- All of the above
- Dust 2 is bad

What we really need is a Dust4
- Office globals
- Rank discussion
- Actual game discussion
- Game engine
- NA CS
- UK scene
- "Wtf I've won 20000 matches in a row why can't I rank up"

Don't forget "everyone is shit but me"
Don't forget "everyone is shit but me"
that's included to the last one
"can't rank up because I get teamed with retards"
"can't rank up because enemy team always has god tier players"
"can't rank up because I can't carry hard enough"
"can't rank up even though I won all these games while dragging my team through it"
"cant rank up because ruski/SA shitters throwing and not speaking english"
"can't rank up because my team sucks"
EDIT: "I can empirically prove that the other 4 are shit"
"my team is holding me back"
Can't rank up bcuz global is the highest rank

You're really good at paying attention to semantics instead of the general message.
What we really need is a Dust4
I'd be down for a new dust map. I'd be down for any new maps in general, but I like the solid coloring and lack of excess detail of the dust maps. Like, there's decals and shit on the walls but apart from that it's just a solid same-colored wall and that's the kind of thing I prefer in my competitive strictly non-destructive-environment games.
I'm ok with posting about hacks as long as we aren't posting names, encouraging it, helping others, etc. It's fine to say "yeah I hack sue me" as long as you aren't saying "if you use DaNkH4k.io hit me up I got a sick legit config"
Can we not start the cheating shitfest again?
Kinda sick of it being talked about every 10 pages. It gets old and can be easily summarized by:
-Assholes likes to cheat and thinks it's not wrong
-Non-assholes think assholes should not cheat and act like assholes trying to convince assholes not to cheat and it never fucking works
-VAC doesn't work
And everyone comes out in a shit mood

Just start shitposting and stop taking it too seriously
The thread going to shit and people coming out in a "shit mood" repeats every 10 pages so it should be expected already
It's like trying to peek A long and dying every round, knowing you'll die when you peek but still doing it for the entire half while wondering how do you keep dying.

You're aware of who you're replying to, am I right?
Wouldn't it be easier if Valve just reworked how a few core mechanics of the game works, where & how information is stored etc. and just do it different but with the same resulting gameplay. Then fuck with minor mechanics every week, thus breaking most cheats every week.
Vac banning known cheats is just playing catchup. Make cheat developing an actual chore, aka something you have to update on a bi-weekly basis.

It's not that hard, I bet whenever CSGO updates, cheat makers have to update their code (AFAIK pointers and addresses change at every update).
However, it sucks when a supposed 20-30 developer team is too busy thinking of ways to fuck up the game instead of actually working on it (we had 3 updates this year while Dota 2 had more than 10 and have an update every day).

Problems with this strategy: The client has to know where the players near him are, therefore they can be ESP'd. No way around that unless you only send information for players actually on the players FOV, which would cause massive teleporting and pop-in when you get peeked, like Faceit but MUCH worse. Similarly the client has to know where someone is on the screen to render them there, therefore you can target them with an aimbot/triggerbot.
Valve already patched psilent/nospread/far esp, there isn't really much more than can be done on that front other than turning the anti-wallhack up even higher.
Changing offsets would work for maybe a week or two before someone wrote a script to find them, or at least the majority of them, automatically.
