I love VP.

Decided to actually hop on CS:GO for the first time in about 2 months, my god this runs so badly. Getting like 100-200 fps on awp_lego and lows of 80 on dust2. It ran fine the last time I was on... I might uninstall and reinstall it.

I might uninstall and reinstall it.[/QUOTE] mine runs like arse too, i occasionally get drops down to like 80 fps from the normal steady 200+ and i have no idea why. reinstalled completely. tried with hrtf on and off, tried rebuilding/flushing sound cache random frame drops in the middle of a fight are incredibly annoying but they just keep happening

Anybody else getting mad frame drops whenever something UI related happens? (chat, scoreboard etc.)

I uninstalled it (steam actually didn't remove the whole game folder so I deleted what was leftover), reinstalled, put my cfgs back in and it seems a lot better. I am still getting occasional drops/freezes but it's 9999x better than what it was.

My cpu/gpu usage is rarely ever over 50% but I will try turning it off next time and see if it makes a difference.

I haven't played in a while, I'll probably get better with a bit of practice.

All you're doing by wasting time P90ing your way from one low rank to another low rank is using up hours that could be spent grinding your rifle aim in HS/FFA DM (which will then get you to whatever rank you want to be at anyway).
