Woop woop, managed to win 1 today for the best of 3 next [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/97228358436125999/38EC2EE0A852F52B2658C6AB5A379279D8390054/[/t]
I'm keep getting like 5-10% loss since the last "rip d2" update. How can I fix that? It only happens in csgo for some reason and discord doesn't even hitch. [editline]13th February 2017[/editline] I did try changing that bandwidth setting, didn't do shit. it's really annoying as important info would get away like for example the explosion of nades or smokes, they just never happen and that's confusing. + vid of what I mean

I'm getting the same shit, but it's fine on faceit.
It's something with the mm servers. I'm getting the same shit, but it's fine on faceit.
Fucking wow, I'm starting to feel that the h1z1 devs care more about their servers than the csgo devs do, and the h1z1 devs give no fucks
The spanish servers have always been shit for me, giving loss and choke constantly.
I have horrible, occasional ping spikes on valve servers. I can live with it in dm but in mm games it's annoying especially in crucial moments.
Did someone say buy menu? Radio menu reporting in:
I need your config [editline]14th February 2017[/editline] Or did you just change language strings and put alias stuff on your radio menu key?
The spanish servers have always been shit for me, giving loss and choke constantly.
damn thank god im not the only one i get insane loss on those servers
The spanish servers have always been shit for me, giving loss and choke constantly.
I don't get why we get the Spain servers when we are closer to the other EU servers, max ping at 50 doesn't so shit. [editline]14th February 2017[/editline] And blocking Spain using the server picker still gets you a Spain server
Didn't this game use to have operations? What happened to those?
Dev Team moved to counter strike online as csgo isn't profitable enough [editline]14th February 2017[/editline] Jk nobody knows [editline]14th February 2017[/editline] They're probably waiting for the source SDK to finally finish building those huge coop maps
Didn't this game use to have operations? What happened to those?
They want each one to be bigger and better than the last to keep things interesting. Otherwise it'd just be a mundane cycle of some new maps every once in a while, and that won't attract and keep players interested in the long run. The bigger they get, the longer it takes to make. Each break between operations has been getting longer.

Each time trying breaks it even more, because they don't playtest.

Most of the community enjoyed them, so I'm assuming Valve will put more effort into those and hopefully make more.
They did confirm in an interview recently an operation is in the works.

woa I didn't know that that's super awesome thank you
The spanish servers have always been shit for me, giving loss and choke constantly.
Even though im spanish and play CS:GO competitive a lot lately, i get the same ping in spanish servers than on fucking European west servers. The good thing about them is that i find more spanish people on them, but i dont really get the point of them if they are worse than the european ones, and i dont really mind playing on the european ones too...
I wish valve would lift the coaching rule seen as it only improves the level of pro cs. I know their reasons but they're silly tbh.
The reasons are far from silly. There's no real sports where coaches actually have as much impact on the whole game as they do in CS:GO. The impact of shot callers flies right out the window when you have someone who has an overview of everyone and the radar without having to worry about his own gameplay. The rules aren't silly as much as they are to make sure coaches actually aren't a sixth player which they are if they're allowed to be fully immersed into the game. Look at LoL or any real sports for that example. Sure they can talk when they don't have a timeout but fuck if they can tell their team anything relevant without calling a time-out.

Valve's reasoning was that you couldn't do it in mm, hence calling it silly because there's a lot of shit pros do that is unrealistic for mm. I enjoy watching the level NiP/Na'Vi etc could reach with a dedicated coach igl.
No it wasn't, their statement was exactly the coaching becoming a sort of 6th player

Direct quote from valve on it: “since the goal of our events is to identify the best five-player CS teams that exhibit the best combination of all CS skills, the current participation of coaches in the game is not compatible with that goal.” The rule came in place after a coach emailed valve asking even more access to the players in the match.

Apparently I misremembered it then, fair enough.
Apparently I misremembered it then, fair enough.
Iirc Valve is mocked with that reasoning on reddit (along with a lot of other stupid shit), so maybe you saw it there?
Iirc Valve is mocked with that reasoning on reddit (along with a lot of other stupid shit), so maybe you saw it there?
Think it was a thorin video or something similar tbh. I don't browse reddit.
Taking thorin seriously is always a dangerous thing to do. What he says needs to always be taken with a spoonfull of salt.
Taking thorin seriously is always a dangerous thing to do. What he says needs to always be taken with a spoonfull of salt.
More like a fucking salt mines yearly output. I wish he'd stop being invited to tournaments because he's an annoying prick who doesn't know when to shut up.
