Might be missing something real obvious but why didn't you just screenshot it instead of taking pictures of your monitor?
because since i switched to fullscreen screencaps are a bastard and im too lazy to change settings it's easier to just take a photo of it upload to it to a shitty messenger chat rightclick the image and rehost

Hopefully they will get there!
In no way is that easier than hitting the steam screenshot key.
There are some special individuals on this planet.
In no way is that easier than hitting the steam screenshot key.
i completely forgot about that. i'm way too used to print screening with alt+printscreening and i never ever play games in fullscreen til now. whoops. [editline]7th November 2016[/editline] thanks...

Also for those who didn't know this clutch made Epsilon win the map.
i just witnessed a live vac ban in my game in fucking silver never thought id see that http://steamcommunity.com/id/ofdanne/
I liked blackgold :(
Black gold was nice. It was full on deathmatch but that's what made it nice to play. Log sucked balls in comparison.
I hope Valve adds a way to replay the old competitive maps. Or some way to play any custom map in a competitive match, I'd really like that. [editline]7th November 2016[/editline] It would certainly help with the boredom of playing the same maps again and again, even if knowing a map well is great and all. I still want to play new things once in a while, and operations are too scarce and limited.

They really need to just start adding maps that actually stay in the game and not for just operations. Like maybe pick a map from future operations that stay in the game or something.
I don't understand why the hell there's a half year long gap between operations. They don't even make the maps themselves. Why not just work on the next operation during the current one, so there's no unnecessarily long wait?

I mean it's fun watching teams play revamped maps such as newke and soon infernew but in the end it'll be Nuke and Inferno, just with better visuals and a few tweaks here and there. On a whole new map however, the viewing experience would be a lot fresher because we'll see new tactics and executes. I personally don't play CS:GO too much anymore but keep up with the pro scene and it'd be fun to see what the top teams can pull off on other maps. Maps that they haven't been playing for years and years.
What do you guys think would be the best format for hosting a cs go tourney for students? I'm gonna ask the student council to set one up at my uni, I just have to lay out some basic propositions and rules. BO3 or would that be too much? And what would be the best system to sort ranks since not everyone will be equal? Any ideas and suggestions are welcome
bo1 group stage with top 2 teams going forward and then normal single elimination bo3s? [editline]7th November 2016[/editline] That is if you have like 16 teams

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome
Depends on maximum time span (one day tournament? over the course of a weekend?) and amount of participating teams. Could go with BO1 early on and then BO3 in quarters finals and up (or semi, up to you). For ranks you have two choices: 1. You match teams by their average early on, but later on in the tournament you'll have the issue that if ranks differed too much, you might have a grand final of for example a GE team vs an MGE team. 2. You match teams entirely randomly, so the lower skill teams will probably be out early on. [editline]7th November 2016[/editline] What Lenny said works too
Based on just me spreading rumors, there will be at least 8 teams. I'm still not sure about the rank distribution, I'll have to talk it out with the other organizers. I'm not exactly sure how long it will be because there's a few exams coming up so this whole thing might get delayed for a while. I was thinking that if we get 12+ teams we do online qualifications, that way we can set up games when everyone has free time and then just set up a lan party for the top 4 (6?) teams.

Bloodhound-Wildfire had the longest gap iirc and they had the Phoenix compound missions on top of the extra maps.
How the fuck do I get out of silver elite master I'm top fragging in pretty much every game(if there's a smurf then it's a different story), and I should be winning /tying enough I just want to rank up so I can play vs actual people :( I keep having the weirdest people in silver. One guy said at the start he would be our in game leader...he proceeded to get only like 4 kills in the entire 30 round game and blaming his bad performance on his "intense" IGLing. Aka saying what site to go to. Literally that was it. Another guy kept buying p90 no armor and complaining about how overpowered the ak was, I told him to buy armor and he said "it doesn't matter". Then every now and then you get the guy who treats every gun like a p90. Silver is fun, but I was double ak before the rank change. I didn't play often enough to really care about my rank, but I actually plan to play a lot more now.
How the fuck do I get out of silver elite master
If you want to stay sane, queue with some friends and win games. Otherwise just DM a bunch and then grind it out, aim is the only constant you can rely on to carry you in silver-nova.
If you want to stay sane, queue with some friends and win games. If I queued with them it'd all be a stomp, with them dicking around. It's fun, but I always feel horrible. I'll just suck it up and keep grinding, I suppose. I should be close, getting a shitload of gn1s and gn2's in all my games now. I'll miss silver, met a lot of interesting people in it.
