Managed to find a backup .bsp on the net and played with a bud today. problem is the third mission is broken to hell and there's no way to fix it without valve themselves fixing it which is a big shame. I hope they will make it available again soon.

At least I hope so, the last one ended in july.

I haven't played the game for over a year, and two dudes had invited me to play in a 1 v 2 match to help me get back into the game. I don't know if it's old skill that has been uncovered, muscle memory, or the act of God, but I bought an AK and killed both of them with head shots 9 times out of like maybe 12 matches. I was also pretty paranoid, and had a good sense of situational awareness, so I usually heard them running around the map while I was slowly walking around. Plus I was learning the map as I go so I could take shortcuts, make an escape, or flank one or both of them. It felt pretty good.

Also VAC is Valve TM product and they can't make it as invasive as fan projects. VAC does not suck, it was never meant to be as agressive as Faceit.

VAC is also like the most basic of anti-cheat systems out there, it works in what it's designed to do but it's not effective because its designed to not be invasive. Systems that work well are really the ones that give zero fucks about system and security mostly because they act like how the cheats themselves do. Only so much a simple memory scan and blacklist can do.

finally got out of silver, after grinding on and off for the past few days. I'm on my way back to my original rank(before i quit for a very long time) of course in my semilast game i got called a walling "son of a bitch" all i did was flash from car perfectly, and get 2 deagle headshots how the fuck is that walling i asked the guy "how am I hacking" and his response is "you'll see in a few days" rip my account!!!

speaking of hacking in silver i saw one person about two months ago, who I knew for sure was hacking Everyone thought he was just good After the game I followed their steam profile Checked their profile a few days ago. "1 VAC ban on record - 23 days old" Fucking finally

I came back after a few weeks of not playing and I'm struggling in GN1 A few weeks before, when I was trying to reach GN2 as GN1, I had very little problems. I was chain winning games SOLO and performed very well at those. I did eventually reach GN2 but after losing a couple games I deranked. Now I'm back in GN1 and suddenly I'm struggling. Suddenly my aim is shit. Bottom fragging my latest games, etc. It looks like I'm going back to hell, Silver. Why am I playing solo? It wasn't always like this. I used to have a group of friends play together. They were a group of friends from Hong Kong while I'm the only outsider We played together many times and they are the friendliest guys I've met (except for this one hyper dude named BALL) We all started at Silver 3 and we grinded and grinded until we were at GN1. The thing is that they are now at GN3-MG1 while I'm barely holding on in GN1. I can't play with them anymore because I'll only get carried and don't have any skills or is just bothering their games being the bottom. I can't find a group of friends of similar rank anymore (I don't even know what my true rank is now) and I'm just afraid it'll happen again (them improving and advancing while I don't) I really want to improve. I've put many hours into this game, even times where I wasn't supposed to, but I'm just falling.

I need help getting out of silver. I haven't played in ages and seeing no one on your team buy armor makes you dead inside. Is there any facepunch groups or whatever?
