Sold a few of my skins and made like 2 dollars out of it, then played a couple comp matches with my friends. Both matches, the entire enemy team either used auto shotties or AWPs. is this the current meta or something? I haven't played in a long time (the auto, I know that the AWP is one of the most commonly used guns)
no, if you want to use a shotgun (which is rare when SMGs are around) you still usually pull out the mag 7, they were probably just doing a gimmick strat
clearly they main xm1014, an incendiary, and two flashes

When wait pays off, stood there for around 40 seconds, was 99% sure he's there as 4 T's rushed main and one unknown.
The winner of BIG vs SK will have only played Inferno in the groupstage

Always a chance now that the veto isn't randomised at all.
Fuck everyone's pickems.
GO BIG OR GO HOME
That was an incredible game
gob b is the greatest mind to ever touch the game, along with element and zeus
gob b is the greatest mind to ever touch the game, along with element and zeus
It's just all the tiny details gob b and BIG had planned, made it so fun to watch. f.e. the double molly on banana with a nade inbetween or the dynamic a hold from pit.
What's the deal with airport food, and portuguese players at low levels?
It's one thing to have a bad day, get tilted, have a non-speaking team...
But a BIG amount of players that I've noticed playing from there are freaking anchors. Like, less than 7 kills in 20~25 rounds.
And that's not getting into them speaking portuguese when the rest do english, giving bad info, raging more than average...
It's not much better with french people but at least it's a mixed bag and you can find friendly people or good enough killers.
Is it also a thing over there with other PTs, happens the other way with us SPs...?
(I also wonder how we can get matched with so many portuguese people when the population rate is like 1:4 )
BIG is insane and I am liking them a lot more right now. So many mad C9/SK/Faze fangays mad because they actually are an insane team but people are too delusional to believe it.

What do you mean, they only won because of the bug, not because they have any semblance of actual skill.

what bug?
What do you mean, they only won because of the bug, not because they have any semblance of actual skill.
did you watch any of the games
what bug?
They used this in one game and everyone is now salty.
Nah they used it a bit a vs cloud9 as well
[editline]19th July 2017[/editline]
But they still beat sk completely without it and looking at the other games' scores they would probably have won the other ones narrowly too without the bug

this shit is old as fuck, how come people are crying about it only now
I fear that they are an inferno one trick pony tho :(
this shit is old as fuck, how come people are crying about it only now
That one isn't old.
There used to be one where you could do the same thing without jumping and just crouching behind cover. I think it still isn't fixed in css
That bug has been present in csgo for at least 8 months.
Legija also used it at least once on banana in the map against SK (when he killed felps with a nade into tree). Literally every pro used it for ages to silent jump. Lots used it for whitebox too.
Of course the players at the major only complain when they have to face someone using it to it's full potential. They didn't give two shits about "fair play" or bug abuse when BIG were using it in the qualifier, or even when they were using it against eachother on cache and inferno. The fact that they weren't even aware of it despite BIG having used these strats for a good couple months really means it's their own fault for not watching demos and taking god b's genius for granted.
So wait, why is this glitch allowed? I only heard about it now. How comes this is okay, but crouch-uncrouch got patched, and bhop effectiveness was significantly reduced ages ago?

because valve devs are slow
[editline]19th July 2017[/editline]
any bug not patched is allowed at all times
That makes sense. Good enough for me.

I get queued with Brazilians that don't speak English often and they generally bottom frag too.
How would you consider your performance?
Having mid/scoreboard score or towards bottom but highest RWS or being top fragger/scorer but having shitty RWS?
I always used that, but didn't know it would prevent you from being seen. I do that crouch-jump because it won't make any noise.
"Gentlemen's agreement" is worth fuck-all when coming to glitches being used in competitive games.
PGL admins have no bawls to apply sanctions for further glitch using.
Remember the pixel jumping exploit from a while back? Imagine that with an 'gentlemen's agreement'...
Every team would have used it, because it was too darn good of an advantage CT side.
Recent example for the jumping glitch, introducing Bot_Walt (during the SKGaming - Immortals match warmup):

You do realise that literally EVERY top team used lots of illegal boosts on overpass and nobody cared until fnatic did olofboost. The only reason people cared about olofboost was because it entirely broke that version of the map.
Honestly if the map wasn't patched I would have been fine with teams abusing it, there were quite a few one-way lineups to kill anyone boosted into it that you could do at the start of the round. Only reason it destroyed LDLC so hard is because they weren't ready for it.
The other major difference between that and this is simple: there isn't a way to make a reasonable rule to enforce nobody abusing silent jumping for info. Literally every top player has been using the same bug to jump silently for ever. How do you differentiate between using it for silent jumping and using it for info? There is obviously no way to define that fairly. It would be like banning one-way smokes. Maybe it has some merit in theory, but in practice it is entirely unenforceable.

There is no way to enforce it. Players have used it this tournament for a silent jump too, do you ban that too?
Honestly I feel like rather than having a nice cry about it teams should just watch BIG's demos and start nading/haxing the spots they do it from. No different to how you deal with one way smokes.
Remember kids - cry is free
