I love walking out of the way of an Engi's teleporter entrance so the medic can take it. It just feels good.
Agreed
Agreed
depends would you rather
the engi not be there to fix his sentry so it dies or
the medic be there only to be instantly hit by a crocket
the sniper's pad taunt is actually really good
when you use it after votekicking somebody

Too bad they don't get to see it.
The sound of Backburner crits.
The sound of Backburner crits.
The Backburner in general is surprisingly good. I rock it with the Detonator and Powerjack and the mobility the latter two give you is enough to get behind a lot of unsuspecting people, even in higher-level play
Generally just the sound crits make is incredibly satisifying. If there's anything I can fully commend the devs on its the sound design.

I once stepped aside to let a soldier go through using 'Go! Go! Go!'
He thanked me and went through, killfeed immediately shows exit was camped and killed
When he returns a moment later he hits me with his shovel and tells me to Go! instead.
Had a Yes / No arguement till another soldier found us with his crocket.
Successfully summoning and deploying a level 3 in the middle of a busy map with the Rescue Ranger. Especially on cramped maps like Nightfall. It's so satisfying to survive the hail of fire and get the gun up and running and then your killfeed explodes with sentry kills.
Having the chance to play with a long time friend and have a good damn time.
Was playing class wars today and came across one of those salt incarnate guys, you know the guys that constantly trash talk, gloat, and generally being a jerk and ruining the fun. Well the map was 2fort and it was sniper vs demo with me being on snipers and him being on demos.
I managed to slip through the sewers and see a demo, with at least a couple of eyelander kills, as I come out, pills are spammed in my direction and I fire a fully charged huntsman and we both die.
The chat then explodes with comments of "why you have to be mad" and the like, I had muted him earlier. I then unmute him in hopes of hearing his anger instead, he toned down how much salt he vomited and the rest of the game was fairly quiet.

Interestingly enough, a lot of it is stock sound effects. Yet when I hear them in other media, like the tesla coil in Starbound, I don't think "oh that's an electricity noise", I think "that's the crit noise from TF2".

Holy crap it is? That explains the frustration I feel from those dungeons.
I'm starting to like using demo's sticky as how it should have been using: a trap weapon. It's fun preparing a trap and using your Grenade Launcher to lure them in and get them by surprise.
Trying to snipe a scout but instead headshotting a spy out of nowhere.
Trying to sneak behind the enemy lines cloaked as a Spy, then suddenly a friendly Scout runs up to me out of nowhere and I get headshot.
Huh.
Yesterday in a pub I met a kid named Ryan. Ryan was our team's sole Medic for most of the map (Granary) - he wouldn't switch off the class, but he'd keep playing it enthusiastically each time. Despite the fact that a lot of the newer players on our team kept baiting him into situations where he'd die, Ryan still played Medic. He latched onto me, the Heavy, for a large part of the game and he popped a few really good UberCharges onto me.
I was pretty happy about that for whatever reason, and decided to friend him after the game.
He thanked me for a while and I told him to keep being cool. Seeing friendly people on pubs just really makes me happy for some reason and gives me hope for this game still.
Update on Ryan

why i dont get players like that
i find them but instead of genuinely liking me they just lurk through my inventory and ask if i'll give them a free hat
I tried that once.
I had a good medic who was a pubbie helping me out. He friended me after and after talking for a bit I gave his medic some of my spare hats to encourage him to play medic more.
The next day he messaged me saying he sold he 2 hats for a rust botkiller stickybomb launcher worth less than half the value of the hats I gave him.
I stopped being generous in tf2 because people usually take that one free item as a message that "Hey if I bug rich tf2 players enough they'll give me free stuff." instead of valuing the items they got.
Oh right love lemme get something nice in here.
When you have oubs where like 4 or 5 people on the team have mics so you're able to properly coordinate attacks on the other team to bust nests and whatever.
rivalries with the other team's top-player.
you absolutely decimate each other's team but can never quite get the kill on eachother, often both retreating with low health or being blasted away by eachother's knockback.
An even better feeling is when you're able to pull a dom on them
Have full Mmph on the Phlog, know the entire enemy team is just around the corner. Go right up to the corner, release the crits.
A Heavy and his Medic jump around the corner, wound up and firing. Just before the taunt finishes, he realizes, says "Oh, fuck." and tries to wind down.
No goddamned survivors.
When a Medic has a bond with you, it's that bond of "We know what we are goin' to do and we will protect eachother, right mate?". An enemy is advancing throu Base to B in Steel as they trying to hold their ground in that chokepoint, trying to build uber, trying to survive. You and the Medic know their location but not the numbers. Jump!, rev the minigun and lay waste on 'em! as the Medic pops that 100% über on you. Bam! most of the enemy is dead or retreating, you can hear on the voicechat "Change the bot difficulty dude!" you take their ammo and don't overextend, go back to the nest that is more secure than the Pentagon. Then you repeat this 4 times as the Medic saves your arse a lot.
Thanks Medic for making my night better and make me feel with that "Oh damn! I did good no wait! we all did good!" feeling that is just lovely.

better when top-scorers make a truce
especially when both are spies
That feeling when you lead a whole team in RD. So basically, I was in a losing team. and told everyone to get there act up. i when ninja engie and snuck to the vent around the other teams base. built a tele and sentry. and after that. we created a big engie fort inside of the base. we basically toke over the base while i leaded everyone to helping. it was a amazing feeling that i only had on Hydro in the past. i hope this gamemode doesn't become the next SD or TR
No pictures. sorry.
Yes please, my spamming abilities are fueled by tears.

Btw, don't look at my stable fps of 33. I like it that way secretly.
I decided to mess with the cow mangler, using the equalizer as I always do, and I decided to charge shot a sentry.
Engie didn't seem to know what was happening, so I just ran in and taunt killed his stuff.

After that I was told the cow mangler and equalizer were 'noob weps' for 'faggots', apparently.
aleluya.
The reason I like Strange Machina so much is that I can become this
