it's also one of the easiest ways of taking out minis
aim slightly above it's center, shoot thrice
Deflecting an arrow from a Huntsman that kills their teammate. It is seriously satisfying to know that the Sniper who fired the arrow must feel like a total idiot after realizing they just got their own teammate killed.

An enemy pyro once killed one of my teammates with a reflected crusaders crossbow bolt that I shot. I felt really bad because I probably should have been healing them in the first place.
Idk if any of you guys in here play mannpower, but saw one of our heavies manage to take out a triple sentry nest by himself, with Vampire.
10/10 best game.

I remember unloading my Beggars to clear out the sewers in 2fort, only to have all my team mates in front of me explode from a reflected crit rocket.
hitting a distant sniper with a deflected direct hit rocket from a nearby soldier feels pretty good
(it was even on purpose)
My favorite direct hit thing to do is to use it with the buff banner, and literally snipe any class with 150 health or less during the banner's duration. It seems like people forget that falloff is simply not a thing and don't try as hard to dodge as they would if it was a full crit, and then they go pop :v:
Yesterday in a pub I met a kid named Ryan. Ryan was our team's sole Medic for most of the map (Granary) - he wouldn't switch off the class, but he'd keep playing it enthusiastically each time. Despite the fact that a lot of the newer players on our team kept baiting him into situations where he'd die, Ryan still played Medic. He latched onto me, the Heavy, for a large part of the game and he popped a few really good UberCharges onto me.
I was pretty happy about that for whatever reason, and decided to friend him after the game.

He thanked me for a while and I told him to keep being cool. Seeing friendly people on pubs just really makes me happy for some reason and gives me hope for this game still.
Oh you have one of those noob friends too?
I once met this one guy from a pub server a year ago who was a medic too. And i was a heavy, of course. We did pretty good for the whole game so he added me so we could wreck a bunch of pub server people time and time again.
So nowadays, a year later, we are still interacting with each-other. Every time i log on he usually says "hi" or something similar, which leads to other things like me telling him tips on how to be a pro player/trader or him sometimes buying hats or normal weapons from me.
Anyway back in the early days i had too much pocket pistols from those damn crates and it would have been waste to just craft them away so i gave them to the guy.
And now, he gave me my favorite weapon in strange quality with a description.

(Ignore the "Gift from:" thing, its not correct. He most likely got it from someone else like and irl friend)
I love seeing experienced players with unusuals and australiums teaching new players and being overall friendly people. It's nice to see unusual/australium players not enforcing the pubstomp stuck up lenny face jerks. It just warms my heart up.

I'll see hatless soldiers trying to rocket jump, and i'll run up to them and ask if they'd like some help, then i show them it
And half the times they aren't listening, they just switch to engie and build a sentry behind our spawn...

Gotta admit, when I was new, I was that person. Now that I look back, I'd like to say it was so I could maintain any dignity I had left but in reality it was probably because I was lazy.
Thread :
I love when people presume a Medic is a coward and easy to kill. Had a decent game the other day but the main highlight was when I was helping with a push and due to a random crocket most my pushing force was killed or finished off by a FaN Scout. So I go to run because I wouldn't have been able to destroy the sentries and 2 soldiers rush at me with melee out, obviously having lost all common less. Syringe Gun them both before either of them hit me.
Sidestepped a charging Demoman with caber in his hand, thus killing himself when he hit a wall. He probably thought he'd get me with the explosion splash but a nearby box blocked it by a few pixels.
Most of my stranges but these two in particular.

Trying weapons that I normally don't use and have lots of fun. I never expected the FaN, Crit-A-Cola and Boston Basher to be good!
I've got you some survival story.
I was playing in Thunder Mountain when I got cornered in one of the houses connected by the bridge. I had low hp and pyro came after me. I managed to fend him off, but then another pyro, heavy and soldier appeared. I thought I was done for until random spy from my team bumped into them and got their attention. I managed to get couple of shots at them but when they got Spy wiped out, they ran at me at the same time.
That was when I got a crocket.

And there I was, dumbfounded what had just happened.
I was playing Phlog+Scorch Shot+Neon Annihilator Pyro, running around in 2fort sewers, coming up to harass people with the Scorch Shot to build up boost, then surprising them with the Neon if they followed me into the water or Phlog crits if they didn't.
End result was I had 2 Snipers on the stairs and an Engie with a nest in the pond all tunnelvisioning on me, trying to keep me pinned in the sewers :v:
[sp]also a guy on the enemy team complained about RED being healed at all times, and another enemy said "yeah, charon is everywhere at all times" and i quietly celebrated my helpfulness[/sp]
Bought a key from the market and decided to uncrate.
Boom, professional killstreak machina kit with cerebral discharge and villainous violet.

Scout loadout is finally complete. I couldn't be happier!

Some guy on the server got angry after I called him out for being a douche and started spamming "capitalism likes pernus"
so i got people on the server to loudly speak in a new york accent to get on his nerves, but then it eventually just became a thing and people were speaking in the accent just for fun and it got hilarious
i was Georgie
I love it when we didn't get the cap once in KoTH, but when the other team's cap goes into overtime, then we cap it and win the match. The fucking best.
I love the critical noise the Shortstop makes.
I don't know why, but it feels more satisfying than a scattergun crit.
I gave a try to the Shotgun Heavy strategy the other day and I had a blast!
The offered mobility and the K.B.G. / Family Business combo make a great change to the standard gameplay, while still having 300 health points. Flank, punch one of the 3 enemy Spies and get crit meatshots on the opposite team. Simple and effective.
By the way, I really like this shotgun even if its stats seem boring. Because I tend to panic under pressure and waste 3 or 4 shots before hitting anything. But with this gun, I still have half a clip.
I can say I felt accomplished when I topscored at the end of the round (on a Valve server, but whatever) or managed to kill a Soldier-Medic pair with minimal help and ended up dominating the Soldier somehow (he was the player with the most points).
Even if I doubt this way of playing would succeed with more competent opponents (an average Heavy had a domination on me at some point), this was still a refreshing and fun experience.
Rocket Jump Waltz, and generally the entire soundtrack.
I always wondered what the Rocket Jump Waltz would sound like as an actual 3/4 time waltz.
The irony has always been that it's written in 4/4 common time.

very cool, but that guy needs a better midi soundfont lol
Getting a random crit with the third degree, and instakilling 3 people.
Holy fucking shit scout is fun to play on maps like Badwater
I decide to play some casual 2fort in an attempt to calm down after a chain of frustrating circumstances. I happened to get a dedicated Pybro helping me out, and one sentry in the same spot racked up over 20 kills thanks to him saving it on several occasions. Certainly helped brighten up my awful day a bit.

If you have the opportunity to hit someone who is being buffed by the Amputator, get to it. It hurts them, the medic healing them, and thus anyone else the medic is healing. Seem videos of a critboosted pyro dropping an entire team doing so.
I love my Half-Zatoichi. I made it after a reference of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, since how well it fits. Recently hit 1000 kills with it.

I mean hear me out. They both got the eyepatch and eye glow going on, perfect killstreaker effect for it too, the sword glows red with the sheen, much like the actual Murasama's red blade (The custom reskin is just bonus).
The zatoichi itself is a samurai sword, and in MGR:R is wielded by one, along with getting a kill with the zatoichi heals you, much like the popular move in MGR of killing someone and taking their fuel cells to heal yourself. (Said cells contain blue liquid, hence the reskin being blue.)
It all fits so well, if only I had a handful of strange parts.
Damage Dealt (Battle Points, you earn points for dealing damage and killing enemies)
Robots Destroyed (Cyborgs destroyed, The most common enemy you face are cyborgs or robots)
Critical Kills (Zandatsu, the act of cutting the enemy in half and using them to heal yourself)
Or replace Crit Kills with Revenge Kills, just to be a play on MGR:Revengeance's name.
Hell, it would be even better if I could rename the parts to those too...
