Just made a new webm of the Detonator vs Scorch Shot jumping power: Detonator is useful on 2fort finally, you can somewhat reliably jump through the grate without it being 50% luck. I just had the most hilarious 15 second wait for a respawn of my life. The game decided to bless me with the view of a brass beast heavy gunning down a scout or two while a box slowly walked up behind him from a nearby corner it was hiding in. I respawned, and a second or two later the backstab on the heavy popped up in the killfeed :v:

I'm content with it now having default damage against players, since it still packs a punch.[/QUOTE] to me the nerf was based around the idea that valve didn't want those oneshot guns anymore i can't remember which weapons but some weapons had either dmg nerfs (falloff/rampup) or dmg normalization so they did something like 124 max dmg instead of 125
It can still one shot most people if they are even slightly hurt. So I expect to hear more bitching about it until Valve nerfs the thing to the ground.
There are three kinds of people when talking about the Loch nerf: 1. The people who say the nerf was bad and that loch is dead now 2. People who say the nerf wasn't enough and that the projectile speed increase warrants a damage penalty instead of a boost 3. People who don't care since they are perfect at airblasting and never encounter the damage from the loch
It would've been fine if they had just put it back to 2 shots.

But that might've been because nobody ever used the pipebomb launcher and always used the sticky, or demoknight. I use to use the LnL since I'm naturally great with the pipes so I kinda annihilated everything pretty quick but I never saw anyone scream "OP" at me since it came out. Regardless of anything though I still think it's a bit of a poor mechanic to have oneshots. That stuff belongs with Spies and Snipers, or crits. Also with the pipebombs I feel like they're dealing more consistent damage? whenever I use the Iron Bomber it deals a pretty steady 100dmg a shot always.
Some guy on the mic had an AMA with his family members on a server one time. Dad, sister and all.
The direct hit could oneshot sandman scouts at close range and nobody ever bat an eye.

Brass Beast/Family Business Heavy actually feels really viable now, I'm doing well with it. Use the FB for moving to a good vantage point, and throw down the Beast when they least expect it. You will shred everything

Its even more confusing when you airblast it away and find that its explosive radius will hurt you but not anyone else.

tr_rocket_shooting2 is an amazing map
i always liked the tomislav but the accuracy buff implemented in gun mettle cemented its position as my favorite heavy primary i'm really glad i kept my strange killstreak (team shine) tomislav from when they were really cheap
Holy shit so I was doing a match of cp_powerhouse with a friend. I was playing soldier, and on the other team there was a medic pocketing a beggars soldier both with the same clan tag. Everytime they killed someone they just used a bind to say "ROASTED AND TOASTED" with a lot of emotes in it. So I stole the bind, had a friend pocket me (with a kritzkrieg) and killed them and used that bind every time I killed one of them. Their response was that I was a "huge fucking faggot who touches himself at night because no one else will" because I stole their bind and because my friend was using the kritzkrieg. This went on for the next 30 minutes, including me using about 3 other binds they spammed. In the end they got really mad and left. It was such a funny game.

People forget that the high speed of the Loch is also it's downfall.
How is it going faster making it any worse? It makes it easier to aim and lets it hit farther away, that's it
