Wow MvM's a lot of fun when you have a great team.
When you kill someone and they instantly d/c [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/1459517378049081441/603BB498495961F8A59B4778BA00DF68B730A1B6/[/t]
You mean when you shoot someone who is standing still because they're opening their menu to leave the game?
How fucking long does it take you to press ESC and hit disconnect?
psh, that crit meatshot hit so hard hl2.exe crashed
You mean when you shoot someone who is standing still because they're opening their menu to leave the game?
Yeah man they're in the menu mid fight trying to leave.
How fucking long does it take you to press ESC and hit disconnect?
I press ~ then type disconnect, or just disc then press tab and enter
I killed a demo with the kamikaze taunt during humiliation, he accused me of lagging and teleporting [sp]he had 150 ping[/sp]
When I hit an airshot and end up screaming like a little girl :v:
When I hit an airshot and end up screaming like a little girl :v:
1. download tr_rocket_shooting2 2. in console "map tr_rocket_shooting2" 3. hit enemy feet as they jump 4. attempt airshot 5. hit airshot 6. repeat steps 3-4 until you reach step 5 consistently 7. smash people and, instead of screaming like a little girl, just feel warm and fuzzy inside
The default Revolver. So damn powerful.
The default Revolver. So damn powerful.
Especially when you pick off a medic who has full uber with it because they never expect a spy to shoot
Revolver is crazy good, spies who keep their distance and have solid aim are a nightmare.
Hey I got that too. Can't see if it's got Pauling's period on it. Thank merciful satan for DX8.
When all of the sudden I turn into an amazing sniper and I get 4 headshots in 10 seconds
When all of the sudden I turn into an amazing sniper and I get 4 headshots in 10 seconds
I've been conditioned to run and hide in fear every time I see someone's name fill up the killfeed because they're usually hacking.
A few days ago I played against a team with about 4 spies on it. Got the razorback equipped and proceeded to kill the same spy literally 30+ times no matter where he was, what disguise or type of cloak he used, point blank and long range. I think i spychecked more people by headshotting them than the pyros on my team lol
those must have been an awfully bad team with an equally bad amount of spies if the only thing that stoped them from killing you was the razorback.
Snipers with razorback are easy to kill if you're a decent spy
in all honestly, i love backstabbing razorback snipers just because i know that even if i dont get to kill them later on, they'll run back to their spawn so they can get the razorback back
in all honestly, i love backstabbing razorback snipers just because i know that even if i dont get to kill them later on, they'll run back to their spawn so they can get the razorback back
Exactly, essentially the same outcome. [editline]18th August 2015[/editline] Also fun if they're deaf and think you're cheating when you stab the razorback and then stab them down.

[editline]18th August 2015[/editline] Also fun if they're deaf and think you're cheating when you stab the razorback and then stab them down.
The funny thing is that the only time i got backstabbed is when the guy hit my razorback, and since I didn't remember what sound it makes because who actually stabs the fucking thing, I went back to sniping and then he killed me
People here seem to assume that every sniper running the razorback is an absolute moron who overextends. A good sniper will always be behind the protection of his team, you stab his razorback or try to shoot him and you'll suffer the wrath of his team mates, its why its so broken in HL where the snipers are almost always overhealed. Too be honest most of snipers secondaries are really stupid and poorly designed because they are all basically, trade smg to remove one of your weaknesses, which is really dumb. At least with the old short circuit the engineer had to actively due something to abuse it, with the razorback its just a middle finger to spies that takes 0 effort on the snipers behalf.
It got buffed to block bullets?
You mean the Razorback? It doesn't matter if it blocks bullets. Razorback is best used if you're sticking with your team, because if you're with your team, any Spy that tries to shoot you is committing suicide, and any Spy that tries to backstab you (which, since you're a Sniper and you will likely be behind your teammates, is something they'll really want to do) is left as a sitting duck. edit: your team forms a nice meatshield in front of you, while the razorback shields you from behind it's pretty damned good
nah, its just a placebo for both parties. some spies would rather not aim for you instantly, while some snipers will see it as a firewall agaisnt death. if a spy is already behind a sniper, his teammates are just shit and/or dont give a shit about the sniper's back. 9/10 times jarate will be far more effective to get rid of spies because even if you get killed, the poor bastard will be soaked in minicrits and unable to hide away.
In other news, I really love getting behind enemy lines as Spy. There's something great about braving the Great Wall of Heavies on pl_frontier to take out their Medics, and escaping to safety with 10 health left on the wings of a Big Earner.
So yesterday I got home from work very angry. hopped on a random Powerhouse server, equipped my most tryhardy black box loadout, put on some heavy metal, and just tore into the other team with wild abandon. By the time the map changed I was at 83:12. It was damn cathartic. My team wasn't even that great, no medics and too many spies/snipers, so it was just merciless focused slaughter.
in all honestly, i love backstabbing razorback snipers just because i know that even if i dont get to kill them later on, they'll run back to their spawn so they can get the razorback back
I once rabdomly backstabbed a sniper on upward and a razorback popped out of nowhere. He immediatly turned his back and backpedaled for a few stem and fell in the cliff. Still got the kill credit.
That intensely satisfying feeling when some guy who won the last round and said "ez game ez life", "get rekt" and all the other sweet stuff gets destroyed and he is either silent or yells at his own team. Bonus points if he tells you to play a "real class".
