You know what i still love about TF2? The voice acting.
Demo, Medic and heavy have such ridiculously unique voices, but are so perfectly fitting i can't imagine any other voice coming out of them, nor could i imagine the voices working anywhere else, genuine perfection.
I'll agree with the Medic and Demo for sure, truly wonderful fits for their characters.
Along the same note; it's nice to hear a line I haven't heard in game before.
I've listened to videos that run through all the lines, but hearing them come up in game is always fun.

some days you just want to solve practical problems.
Successfully killing someone with the Eviction Notice never felt more satisfying. It's the only time you can justify yourself for saying "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru"
:snip:

When I came back to TF2 this July I finally heard all those "new" Payload lines and it was super cool to hear new stuff out of the mercs mouths.
as lame as snipers are, I love the hidden etiquette where most of them secretly refuse to use the darwin shield.
It's like total strangers that nod to eachother.
I never realized there was a stigma against the Danger Shield. That said, before I added it to my most recent loadout purely for looks, I'd never even bothered to use it. It never really seemed worth using over the Jarate or the Cozy Camper for me.
I can understand how it might annoy enemy snipers to have a harder time one-shot killing you, but I think the extra rocket vulnerability is a pretty powerful balancing factor. In practice I tend to get a lot more rockets fired my way than I do enemy sniper bullets for whatever reason.
I use it with the Huntsman for the health bonus, but with the rifles I prefer any other secondary.
Yeah, I could see it being useful with the Huntsman because you're at a much closer range and more likely to catch some stray bullets.
and more likely to get disfigured by explosives

Has it ever been confirmed whether Valve just held onto the lines for all these years or if they were recently recorded?
Medieval with third person + Rules of Nature + Katana Demoman = The closest I will be to playing MGR Revengeance . Holy bananas it was a really good round and all that juicy adrenaline on my brain was perfect.
reminds me of this dumb thing i made a year ago.

Now I only need the Samurai hat, getting good at trimping and some kill collections while using the katana and RULES OF NATURE/J-rock blastin' in the background.
This why I love TF2, it's so open you can do anything with it, like vodka.

A shame I didn't get chance to kill anyone with it...

I did the same thing with a Golden Pan I found. :v:
The Force a Nature has got to be my favourite non-stock Scout primary. I'm not especially good with it, but lining up both shots and sending a ragdoll flipping across the room or launching some Heavy miles of a cliff before they can react feels so satisfying.
I love how they fixed the enforcer
simple, straight-to-the-point stats.
no idiotic power creep

It should really have a bigger damage bonus though. Not a big boost for a single shot right now.

hey, it can still two-shot light classes, that's all it exists for.
When your pill game is on point, perfectly leading your shots to get guys who are running away.

On a related note, getting them key airshots.
helping out new players
I like using stock ft on pyro with scorch shot and powerjack. Instead of trying my ass off to do flarepunches or stressing about getting fire damage to activate a phlog, it is just laid back and fun and feels like what pyro was originally meant to do. It's very good for flanking.

When they actually listen and don't constantly beg for items anyways.
There is no greater joy to me than topscoring as an Engineer
Picking up an enemy Pyro's phlog that you just beat at a wm1 battle, then proceeding to flatten the enemy team
Got killed by a scunt. He taunted, got backstabbed, and disconnected.

These are the best killcams. [sp]i really hope this isn't too much of a wall of thumbnails, just dumb me and i'll link to them instead if it is[/sp]
I was in a pub last night and this Medic just stuck around me
We went around, going "Nice shot!" to each other, and he was just an overall bro
The best was when we crashed an Engineer nest. He killed the Engi, and started laugh-taunting at him. I killed the Scout that teleported in, along with the teleporter, and then joined my Medic in laughing.
It was great.
Normally, I get nothing but crap when I go to open crates. The most expensive item I had was a Strange Juggernaut's Jacket, which I only had because the Strangifier dropped randomly ages ago. No unusuals, no really rare cosmetics, not even a half-decent rare Strange weapon. Honestly, I've had better luck crafting rare cosmetics than I have unboxing items (got a Heavy Lifter by mashing together 3 crappy cosmetics)
So, imagine my surprise when I unboxed a Factory New Strange Aquamarine the other day. It's now the most expensive item in my backpack.
