phlog + det + getting the perfect flank phull mmph, jump up the window on junction last point with the enemy team in the small room with the staircase 2 meds dropped, 1 heavy dead, 3 more things i registered only as frags also when the flogs last crits hit something and it gives you like half of your mmph back
1st ever comp match, kinda a disaster, but they praised my engie skills http://logs.tf/1021959
I bought a Carpet Bomber skin from TF2WH yesterday. It looks great!

huntsman hard counters phlog stab is faster than the mmmph taunt :v:
Found Australium Gold paint today. Always nice finding things that isn't weapons or crates, even better if it's like expensive paint.
There's something amazing in the fact how you can sometimes make friends with enemy teammembers. Like, if I have a 1v1 against other dude, we just kind of stop firing, say couple of VCs (perhaps a partner taunt too) and go on our merry ways, having a mutual ceasefire between us whenever our paths cross. It sometimes gets a bit awkward when classes are changed so we can't recognize each other at first glance though :v: It's usually more common among the people who are between newbies (whose bloodthirst genuinely scares me sometimes) with gibusvision and stock weapons and the "apex predators" (who simply don't give a fuck and tear enemy to shreds) with unusual hats and Hale's Own strange weps. You know, the "middlemen", those who have a good taste of cosmetic item combinations and a strange weapon or two, nothing too flashy like the aforementioned "apex predators".
People bitch about the phlog not taking any skill but it's still super satisfying to get a good flank and just murder the entire enemy team.
The same is true of the Backburner. I think it's the unexpected power, particularly in the highly noticeable form of crits, that gets to folks.
The same is true of the Backburner. I think it's the unexpected power, particularly in the highly noticeable form of crits, that gets to folks.
The game's wonky definition of a "back" probably doesn't help much in the backburner's case.
When you're on the winning team, and get autobalanced out of nowhere, but then come to find out the other team you just got autobalanced to is the one that pulls a 180 and wins.
The game's wonky definition of a "back" probably doesn't help much in the backburner's case.
The Backburner has 90 degrees as opposed to the knife's 180 degrees radius, which is a whole lot.
The backburner doesn't make any sense. You don't deal enough damage in that short amount of time before they turn around and you lose the crits.
The backburner doesn't make any sense. You don't deal enough damage in that short amount of time before they turn around and you lose the crits.
Unless it's an overhealed heavy or soldier they tend to die before they turn around.
The backburner doesn't make any sense. You don't deal enough damage in that short amount of time before they turn around and you lose the crits.
You don't have time to react. The same reason as people not being able to deal with Phlog's crits. You gotta be max flame's range (barely hit the player), players with high sensitivity, overhealed or worse, being paranoid.
The backburner doesn't make any sense. You don't deal enough damage in that short amount of time before they turn around and you lose the crits.
crit phlog has -10% dmg and it still pratically one-shots everything so I don't believe that.
I absolutely love making traps for Demoknights. Lay down stickies behind you, cover it with your back, wait for the demoknight to appear and charge at you, move away and then detonate. Most of em always fall into that.

I exit and press m2 and do the laugh taunt because I feel if your that stupid you should be laughed at.
I have now played some highlander matches in tf2 center as a heavy. I have never felt so much love for this game since I started playing it for the first time.
that's because you won
I activated phlog crits outside of Red's first spawn on Borneo half a second before we captured the second point, apparently most of the enemy team respawned right before we capped and the doors opened up. Instant 12 killstreak. [sp]I felt kinda dirty afterwords[/sp]

If you get smart and fall back after the second respawn wave, you can survive to do it again scat-free one more time. Phlog's possibly the most ridiculous spawncamp machine in the game, stickies and sentries considered. /naturally, you can't spawncamp competent people whatever you do
that feeling when you get A+ credit ranking for the entire mission in mvm as the scout fuck yeah
The shortstop, its so fun to use and rewarding.
Set stickies in a trap, get bored, leave. Eventually right click for no reason and I get a kill for it.
MvM, in Rottenburg. It's always fun trying to find many ways to kill Sir Nukesalot. I got a laugh at seeing a 200+ tour Pyro using the Scorch Shot and knocking him to the pit and it's the fastest and most viable way to do it too.
So I used to have these horrible issues with TF2 where I'd lag every five seconds. Turns out all I had to do was enable high performance mode on my computer. Now I can actually enjoy the game again
I love when you go sniper and start headshotting the enemy team and destroying them. Then they go sniper and try beating you only to lose.
I was somehow able to suprise people by setting up sticky traps last night. This one Platinum Medal Soldier who was wrecking our team actually thanked me for compliemented on my traps too. It felt sweet.

Look at that, it was faster and the pyro didn't upgrade his scorch like a dummy. Just pray that your soldier don't have rocket specialist or there is no soldier at all.
