It feels goooood to MVP almost entirely off teleporting teammates. Also, building a Lvl 3 Sentry at your tele entrance, then spamming them out the exit at lightning speeds with the Jag.
something fun to do with a friend who's playing Demo is to equip the vaccinator, and give him a quick pop as he's about to sticky jump. Patients get self damage resistance when they're ubered with vaccinator, so at certain times you can have your demo use his sticky launcher like a Sticky Jumper. Pretty fun to see demos fly accross the map, and still be able to wreak havoc because they still have their gib makers.
Just had an absolutely stellar game of Botbash with no medic and no soldier. Instead another guy and I went Scorch Pyro. It was amazing! Between us we managed to put each and every single giant into either the pit or the river. Most fun I've had in MvM in a while.
Was it this guy [t]http://puu.sh/kcDsk/f3820bb06c.jpg[/t]
Nah but it seems the Scorch Shot buff really made it viable for MvM since people are using it.
I love the Amputator so much, it fits my style of playing Medic too. Which makes it great.
Nah but it seems the Scorch Shot buff really made it viable for MvM since people are using it.
if griefing is viable, then yeah i guess
if griefing is viable, then yeah i guess
The only way i'd consider it griefing is if you've got a whiny sniper who cant headshot Truthfully a good team wont need to stick giants to the backwall of the map but that hardly changes the fact that each flare you shoot is a propelling ball of roidrage airblast which is very handy for resetting, bomb protection and anti-fallback measures
In every game I've played with it, the Scorch shot is just a nuisance because the pyro could be killing the robots a lot faster than just stunlocking them into walls the entire game, thus causing every wave to go by slower, and more boring to play.
if griefing is viable, then yeah i guess
It's likely the only good secondary of a Pyro in MvM, of course his job is to just use the primary but Scorch Shot has the same uses of an airblast with less risks and afterburn. A bad player will just spam it without any thoughts, ruining everybody's aim etc. A good player knows when to use it, that's the difference. It's the same with Pyros spamming airblast. They forget their primary role.
Detonator and flare gun says hello.
Detonator and flare gun says hello.
neither of which push back enemies, which is the point of the scorch shot
neither of which push back enemies, which is the point of the scorch shot
But you can't puff n sting good oneugh with the scorch shot and murder everybody before they can do anything! Wait, that's actually a good thing. shit
neither of which push back enemies, which is the point of the scorch shot
And what does that have to do with him saying that scorch shot is probably the only good secondary for mvm?
And what does that have to do with him saying that scorch shot is probably the only good secondary for mvm?
because it's correct scorch shot is the only viable one, so i have no idea why you'd mention anything else
Not really? Detonator is useful for both jumping (helps most on Decoy, and Mannhattan) and mass igniting, and Flare is good for taking care of sniper bots, doing damage while you close the distance.
the usage of the scorchshot isnt to spamstick giants in corners, it's to maintain a front line by preventing giants from ever passing a certain point if your team is incapable of closing in on a locked giant or even aiming then the fault is on them I've seen giant overhealed heavies crouching over the bombhole with a bomb strapped on their back and our pyro scorch shots him so far back that the giant basically respawned at the front
maybe if giants get far and to the hatch, it's because you're one man down don't need to manipulate what's dead in the first place and I refuse to believe you sincerely tell the demoman and spy to "git gud" when their attacks revolve entirely on where the position of giants is (stickies and backstabs) anyhow the scorch effect working on giants is entirely a bug so it's probably going to get fixed someday.
I love getting a killstreak on a soldier main that thinks they're hot shit.

Fully upgraded Brass Beast vs soldier wave be like [T]http://i.imgur.com/cPDhRpN.jpg[/t] Fuck yo rapid fire crocket giants
We need a minigun that fires tracer rounds like the Machina
it wouldn't look as good as you think technically only one tracer appears each group of 6 bullets (one ammo) took me years to notice it. kinda like the sentry guns only shooting tracers from one side rather than both
Being called a cheater when you're not only not a cheater, but also a pretty mediocre player.

Wouldn't make any sense as a downside for a Heavy weapon, I just want it because it looks neat.
Being called a cheater when you're not only not a cheater, but also a pretty mediocre player.
Every single time I play sniper. I am physically inable to keep track of anybody's head and the only way to compersate for that is to flick. I can get some sick flickshots that way, might even think of making a fragmovie.
We need a minigun that fires tracer rounds like the Machina
I remember there being a PAYDAY: The Heist mod years ago that made every bullet a tracer. Thing is, tracers only exist on Snipers. Sniper tracers last about 3 full seconds, and also expand outward as they fade, becoming about a foot wide, and also blur and distort the screenspace they occupy. It's so you can work out where they are. The whole team having LMGs with poor acc vs a crowd of cops was a very bad thing.
Playing Hulk Hogan's theme while using Steak+Fists and getting a 10 person killstreak.
We need a minigun that fires tracer rounds like the Machina
For a close-ish simulation just go on a local server, give yourself the MVMbuxx to upgrade the SMG all the way, then build a focus charge with the hitman's heatmaker. Ta-dah! Pocket "minigun" with tracers, at least for a few seconds :v:
I've just encountered this rare glitch where the cosmetic's facial flexes actually work client-side. It was awesome to see my Lone Survivor following my Soldier's expressions.
