I feel so bad bodyshotting demos right before they sticky jump, but it's just so funny.

It's even better when you get them just as they sticky jump, so their limp ragdoll has that upward momentum. Like throwing a Pippi Lockstocking in the air with full force.
I've had that happen where the demo's body landed right in front of me. My straight face didn't stand a chance.
that moment when you do so well as a class that 4 people switch into it to ride the train.
i get that alot but those 4 people are on the enemy team

scorch shot is very effective at removing stickbombs, there have been a couple of times where a demoman close to me will try to stickyjump away from me and I either airblast him away from the stickies or shoot them with the scorch shot, destroying them and setting him on fire
Everything about playing sniper. I just absolutely find it exhilarating playing that class to the best of my ability on whichever server I'm on. Picking off the enemy medic from afar, laughing at heavies, sniping flying soldiers and quickscoping people in close proximity to me, nailing scouts, running around trying to make those quick difficult headshots constantly moving about so the enemy doesn't know where to expect me to come from. And then hipshotting people to death when there isn't enough time to scope in. It feels unfair sometimes how many problems the stock sniper rifle can solve. Then there's the Jarate and Bushwacka - such a satisfying weapon combination. So many dead spies, and so many mini-crit assists with jarate where my team and I can down a scary looking combo thanks to a well placed jar. Even engies nests. If you can time an attack well with a decent team the sniper rifle is really proficient for taking down sentry nests too. I love playing the sniper, it's the class where I feel like I can do anything, handle any situation, even as a very vulnerable class. Succeeding in inadvantageous situations as a sniper especially, that's the icing on the cake. Every headshot and successful jarate-assisted kill is so satisfying. I just don't quite get that from any other class.
Oh, and those medics that kritz me as a sniper for great fun? I love you guys.
I wonder what reasons other people have for what their favorite (main) class is.
I remember playing Sniper on Pass [sp]stop judging me![/sp] and I remember full charge bodyshoting a medic just as he was about the hit the launch pad. His body was still launched and literally zoomed across the whole middle right trough my camera, ultimately scaring the shit out of me and then making me lose my shit for straight 5 minutes. That was some fucking top comedy gold right there.
I wish Valve servers still had replay on, I experienced some really retarded shit on those servers.
Holy shit. Earlier tonight me and 5 friends got really bored. So we dewcided to do MvM... but everyone had to pick Random Class at the start of each wave.
I haven't had that much fun on MvM in a long, long time. Even the ridiculous things like 2 snipers 2 medics 1 spy 1 pyro we managed to beat a wave with.
Only 1? That setup could beat any mission.

Best stuff always happens when you're NOT recording :/
[sp]brb, adding prec_record to my autoexec.cfg[/sp]

I only play Soldier and Heavy because those are the only classes I can actually do well as
After years of playing I finally read up on how flamethrower particles work and now I'm getting more consistent Pyro kills than ever before. I love it.

A guy said in chat 'thanks matey!' after I complimented his kill on me.
finally got around to work on custom mvm missions
it's that little feeling you get when you play with legos, but ten times better
seeing your little bots out of your notepad coming alive is just glorious :excited:
So I joined a teamspeak of a certain game server host (lvlmeup.com) and saw two people in the tf2 channel, so I went in and said hi
they asked if I wanted to play MvM with them, I said sure, but that I wasn't really that great, but that I did have a ticket
Everything just fit like a glove. I played Heavy, did a good job, nobody criticized my playing (and the two teamspeak people guided me through the upgrades I needed to get to succeed), and we had very little trouble.
I want to do this more
Something fun about the cloak n dagger is when you get a couple of backstabs in on the enemy team, and you just watch over while them and the rest of the team just panic en masse and desperately shoot everything in sight

Continuing from this, shooting at the most obvious CnD camping spots to see a Spy body drop dead from invisibility.
And predicting where DR spies are going. Oh, you're walking into that small room with one exit? Lemme just stand in front of the door and wait you to decloak so I can shoot you with a smug smile on my face.
seeing people spy check the area you're actually cloaked at, yet they still miss you is pretty fun as well. had plenty of close calls where people just barely miss me, and let their guard down after they've been lulled into a false sense of security
An enemy pyro set me on fire and I was getting really low on health, but before I knew it a teammate pyro airblasted me clean and just ran away to murder the pyro that lit me in the first place
godspeed
Edit: So I just played my first round of MvM after an age. The first time I played it I completed the whole intermediate thing, I remember it being frustrating. I was a bit nervous about returning since I see all these stories about uptight buggers and shitey server kicks, but I absolutely loved this round.
I played as a medic with a crossbow, quickfix and amputator. I aimed to keep all my team healed quickly so I fully upgraded all of my medigun save for the ubercharge parts, I upgraded my damage resistances, speed and health regen and I helped kick ass. To make up for my lack of using a kritzkrieg I just used the maxed out canteen specialist and crit canteens. Most fun I've had in tf2 for a while, shame I only had one ticket.
Playing medic since I switched to the crossbow over syringe gun. It feels more fun to me.
I could never get behind the crossbow mechanic.
It was kinda nice for long range healing and long range killing, but I feel like if I'm playing medic and I'm far away from my allies or trying to kill enemies by myself at any range, I'm doing something very wrong.
I just use crossbow for those moments where I see a teammate far away and could use a bit of health when theres not much action going on with me and my pocket. Although it irritates me when medics use the thing at point blank.

It's good for getting a big burst of HP on your patient if they're in danger of going down in the next hit or so.
which sounds good on paper, but most of the time it wouldn't be enough to save you if the burst is big enough to need it in the first place. That's also time spent not building uber, especially if they miss (I've had so many medics miss close range Xbow shots on me while I'm standing still it's not even funny)
So I was playing on a Borneo contract, I decided to have some fun and I was dicking around with voice chat saying "Okay, we're assaulting the enemy so lets go scout it's obviously the best assault class". Next thing you know every single person on my team went scout, every single one.

This obviously didn't go very well so I said "Okay this isn't working, go fat scout (Heavy with a shotgun, family business, panic attack) and lets see what we can do with that"
They did this of course too

We actually ended up doing really good and surprisingly we won

Now with only 10 points needed to get my gold coin and my army of people we were now defending so I said "Go the best defense class, Engineer". Now as most of you may know the last point on Borneo is perfect for engie-nesting, we won this time as well.

Sorry for the cluster photo post but I felt like sharing this, I love the people in this game and I wanted to show you guys :)
The chat on medieval maps still makes me laugh. It's just brilliant, lollery.

it's the worst thing ever in MvM medieval, you get so sick of it after 30 second when you have to yell at your comrades, I say!
