I could understand if Muselk had like, a burning flames Point n Shoot or something, but he only has the stock hat, tons of people have it. Why would people think just because someone has the Point n Shoot (a fairly popular all class hat), they're Muselk? He doesn't have a monopoly on the hat, damn it.
He has a Kill-a-watt.
Point n Shoot can't be Unusual, he has an Unusual Exquisite Rack he equips with it
Liberty Launcher did hold some appeal to me for a short while but there were just so many situations where I would die because I didn't get in the extra damage on a foe a regular rocket launcher would deliver. The stats and how it functions certainly have benefits but IMO I'd rather run the stock rocket in 80% of situations.
I love Liberty Launcher + Gunboats. You basically have the Rocket Jumper, but it deals damage and has five rockets. Most of the damage from rocket jumping with them will be fall damage, which you can avoid by launching a rocket at your feet as you land.

hi guys
I, too, have been having fun with the Liberty Launcher. I do kinda wish it worked like the ones equipped by the Soldiers in Mann Vs Machine with the increased Push Knockback.
Everytime I think I get shafted in TF2 in terms of weapon balance/combat engagement/skill-reward ratio, I go back and play DoD:S and realize balance could be much, MUCH worse and I learn to love TF2 a little more.
Balance complaints in TF2 are nothing compared to what a lot of other multiplayer games have to put up with :v:
Valve built the core game sufficiently balanced that everything else is relatively OK.
No kidding. I can barely play anything else, it's as if those other games are entirely built out of UP and OP stuff with nothing inbetween.
Valve did a perfect job with the base game and using that as a reference for unlocks was a great idea.
There's something magical about being in a close up fight with someone, be about to die and then see your health jump up to 150+. You kill your target and turn around, and on the other side of the map a medic is running towards you with his crossbow out.
Basically, I love the crossbow :v:
Killing a Degreaser/RS pyro by popping him into the air and getting him with your own Reserve Shooter as a soldier is unbelievably satisfying.
I actually ended up crit-flaring a RS Pyro the other day. It was one of the few times I've been able to kill a Pyro doing it and the dude was an all-around jackass in chat to boot. I ended up taunting and (because I randomly hit a number) landed on the Director's Vision taunt - specifically the "feminine" variant Pyro gets. Dude targeted me for the entirety of the rest of the time I was there but never wanted to leave his base to get me.
For reference, if you move forward slightly and puff a bit of fire out, immediately back up and then flare into it, it has potential to crit the person that walks into the puff.
It's hilariously simple to do against Targe Demoknights and Pyros that only walk forward.

Recently learnt that my clean tradable Horseman's Headtaker can be worth quite a lot (for me even a key is a ridiculous price, let alone three)
Finally found a buyer today and used two of the keys to get myself a Gentle Manne's Service Medal, something I've wanted to get for six years, then used the last key to buy a Cold Snap Coat.
Feels so fulfilling to finally get something that you've always wanted, even if anyone who has played this game for more than a year probably already owns several of those.
Playing koth_probed a couple nights ago and this kid who apparently has a bind to every key he presses comes on spamming lennyfaces and memes. Call a votekick and it passes within less than a minute of the guy joining. There's some hope for this community yet!

Holy shit.
I got a Shooting Star sniper rifle.
A week or so ago I had a stupid idea: To go SMG only Sniper. I had a decent team at the time, and the weirdest part was that the strategy worked. I even got a domination, though it was mostly through assists.
It feels great doing well with the stupidest shit.

People severely underestimate the SMG.
On the topic of smg's here's a video from awhile back.

The sound of that many smg's going off at once is ear rape, shame it's been muted.
The price of the cases is still really high. I missed a chance to earn some money during Gun Mettle so now it's time for payback.

once in a while, my friend and i decide not to sweat as much in a pub and go full bottleknight and see how well we can do.
sometimes it works and us two retards are topping the scoreboards, while other times we just get completely smashed. but we always have an absolute blast with it.
Today, some guy gave a F2P (which wasn't me unfortunately) a Upgrade to Premium gift when he realized he didn't have enough to pay for a hat with weapons.

It was cheaper than opening the crate....

Holy shit this is so fun to use with the Bootlegger and Skullcutter
going absolutely ham in a lobby and instead of people saying "well done" they just say "honestly funke i thought you were shit at the game before this"
I went SMG only Sniper last night and i had so much fun with it.
does anyone else wish that they could talk to youtubers like star_ and jerma and funke on these forums? it would be awesome because these people are like my idols for tf2 and i'm sad because i know i'll never get to talk to them personally but it makes me happy to see people doing well and inspires me to be as good as them.
