Stopping an incoming Demoknight dead in his tracks with Natascha.
When the teams are unbalanced and auto balance is off but still some people join your team to balance it

If they have a tideturner you could stop them with a single pistol shot now..
A guilty pleasure of mine is making people mad without provoking them or anything, just being good.
I dropped a Medic on a pub yesterday with an Escape Plan at like 10 health and my friend told me he was eating his microphone on voice chat, then he left.
So good.

Reminds me back in October, a friend and I were just both playing Flare only pyros for fun on an alltalk pl server, and we were doing strangely well. Our names had spooky in them because it was almost halloween, and we weren't being disrespectful at all in chat, we weren't even using it. And then out of nowhere some guy on the other team just yells on the mic "THESE FUCKING SPOOKY ANIME TWATS" and then he left :v:
I have an ever growing folder of 100+ hitsounds which I alternate between quite frequently. Ranging from cartoon sound effects to Randy Savage's OHH YEAH!
I only got one, but I've been using it for about a year now.

I remember playing on a CTF Well server a while back, I was camping the interior of the other team's building but couldn't push to capture the intel due to there being 10 sentries in the room. While sitting on the upper floor a demo kept jumping up there to try and kill me and failed a good 15 times or so before I finally accidentally blew us both up. While respawning in chat I see "FINALLY, HE'S DEAD". It was rather funny really.
i just met some kind of walking anomaly
a guy on hightower using lenny faces and an all lime soldier loadout, talking shit half the time
you know, the usual prick
but after some time (plus me and some other guy talking shit back at him) he seemed to drop the asshole act and became a pretty ok person over the course of the game
even complimenting my grenade launcher before leaving
he talked shit, he got hit, he was an ok guy
[editline]metarusucks[/editline]
oh yeah, it was also a hightower server that wasnt full of sentryguns and scouts, just occasionally

forcing tideturner demoknights to go for ambushes rather than head-on charging.
-blargh that was supposed to be an edit-
When people tell their way to make insane profit.

I made 10 ref profit. As a guy who is poor af on TF2 this makes me happy.
I love making new sprays.
Someone on /co/ was storytiming The Superior Foes of Spider-Man (an amazingly hilarious book, go read it) and I was inspired to make a fading spray.

Also completely nullifying the idea of using it to escape. taking fall damage will also halt you. The thing is, it does not now encourage ambushes, it just encourages you learn how to charge from 3 feet away so you can crit them before they have time to shoot you

Well, all shields technically encourage that, *especially* the splendid screen. The tide turner is more along the lines of mysteriously knowing when/where an enemy is around the corner and charging them before they have time to react.
I had my entire team go uber-chaining.
Don't think I really need to say more there.
i managed to unbox an unusual last night.

Proof?
A couple of days ago I hopped on a server I go to occasionally and to my surprise none of the regulars were there. Instead it was a couple of names I've never seen before.
The map was Badwater, and the cart was halfway down the hill to the last point. There were three RED team members and one BLU one, so I join BLU. The instant I do so, I hear "hiii Vince!", said by someone who could be no older than twelve.
I just ignore it and start playing without doing the objective, after all, we have like 10 minutes left, so I figure I might as well practice my Demoman. I jump to tireside and my teammate the Scout was under fire from some (bad) Scouts. I manage to pop one into the air with a sticky and airshot him with a pipe. My teammate stops in his tracks and says "wow, great job Vince!"
At this point I'm confused and wondering if it's some sarcastic dude or a genuine little kid, but I shrug it off and keep playing. Admittedly, I was doing pretty well, but that's mostly because the other team wasn't very good. Suddenly, someone on RED says "Vince how are you so good?", and his friend pipes up "yeah, I'm trying to get him but he knows where I am ALL THE TIME!"
I remained silent for the rest of the match while the others kept talking about "being good" and "whether it's better to win or have fun or lose" [sic]. It was adorable and I wish more matches were this friendly.
Class rushes are hilarious.
Jumped on a valve server earlier, and at one point the team had 3 spies. One of them said "all go spy", and that is exactly what we did. We actually won when our very French team realized that 10 Enforcers was a bit too much for the 6 pyros on the other team to deal with, and the following rounds we did all snipers and all medics as the other team started going all scout, all engineer without sentries and so on. Everyone was having a blast and there was 10 times as much text/voice use than I usually see on Valve servers, and 90% of it was people laughing :downs:

It changes weekly.
i gave the loose cannon a go after not using it since forever
the "buffed" double donk is crazy good
Those moments when there is no one left to shoot but you still feel the need to dakka dakka.

I love getting some honest to goodness salt for playing heavy defensively. It's hilarious every time.

The third round of my teams KOTH match came down to 00:01 - 00:01, i.e we just managed to force overtime and cap as it ticked down.
Way too close but definitely the best match I've had in 3 seasons.
Ran into a lone enemy medic as scout, he ubered before I got within meatshot distance and offered me a highfive.
So we did that.
This is why you can highfive enemy team.
Of course, it ended as usual, [sp]with me having my ass roasted by a hatless W+M1 pyro.[/sp]
