Defending on the last stage of dustbowl is actually pretty fun to me. It's a complete meatgrinder, but it's always a fun challenge to me to see if I can actually help my team defend the point for 22 fucking minutes :v:
I'm a bastard, but I love standing perfectly still calling for a medic that has crusader crossbow. Standing perfectly still until the very moment he fires the bolt, and then I move to the side. Repeating this shenanigan until the medic catches on or successfully predicts me and lands a bolt, I suicide right afterwards.
That's a good way to never get healed again.
Why the dumb rating? I do this stuff with my teamspeak friends all the time and we get a kick out of stupid little ingame interactions like that. Usually smart people catch onto it and that's when things get sassy through voice commands or chat, especially when you've proven yourself to be an actual viable teamplayer beforehand. It's all in good fun

I feel the joke would have more impact if teammates actually made themselves easy to hit with crossbow bolts in pubs on a regular basis.
Why the dumb rating?
injokes doesnt translate that well when you dont mention its a injoke.
Oh well. When I do happen to see a medic rolling crusader crossbow, I usually make it a point to stand still for them when i'm not actively in combat and the situation is actually pretty serious, like during a push and what not. I don't do that jokey scenario all the time, don't worry. :v: On the flipside, that doesn't make me innocent when someone goes to spy-check me and I deliberately act fishy around them, walking with a primary out and away from their general direction. I'll never stop getting a kick out of that.
half of the time messing with teammates disguised as an enemy spy is part of fooling the enemy team. its really funny to see snipers freakout at the very though of a spy nearby.
Being critboosted as a sniper is hilarious, nobody expects it, not even the guy getting boosted lol
Being critboosted as a sniper is hilarious, nobody expects it, not even the guy getting boosted lol
Funny fact: If you have Sydney Sleeper and you get critboosted, you can actually score headshots. I used to do that with my friend. Everyone I killed this way was like "wtf?"
why waste time on these people.
How to deal with bind spam: 1. don't reply 2. mute them They only use binds to taunt people they think care about the game to provoke some kind of reaction from them, so you do the opposite. They start feeling uncomfortable spamming that shit after while, getting no response whatsoever, and shut the fuck up for a change. If enough people did this, binds would fall out of fashion rather quite quickly.
Or just write in console hud_saytext_time 0
i admit i'd visit valve servers more often thanks to the ginourmous amount of random crap people say there.
When someone is bindspamming, I just say "nice bind" or something along the lines and than stay silent. It seems to work.
Placing sentries in such bad spots, they don't expect them to be there and it works. And then they come in and wreck the sentry. From there the cycle continues.
That feel when you decide to play a class you don't usually use, and you somehow end up doing better than if you stuck with your main one.
I love soldier, demoman and engi's schadenfraude. they have this "impact" that the other classes lack. infact the other classes schaden are kind of predictable and boring because their laughs are overused everywhere
Demo's Laugh is the stuff of nightmares. I love it.
i like sniper's everyone point and laugh! and one of sniper's revenge (i think it is) lines i love too "wanna hear something funny? you're dead."

"Where'd I get you that time? The liver? The kidney? I'm losing track." 2. "How many times have you died? I'm actually getting impressed." 3. "I'm great. You're dead. I think we're done here."

My overall personal favourite comes from Soldier though "This is not a camping trip, Sheila; this is war and I love it!"
Getting a taunt kill on an unaware player
Accidentally bumping into a rocket jumping Soldier while your rocket jumping yourself, then you both shoot a rocket at each-other... Then you watch yourself explode into tiny little gibs. Then the other Soldier dies of fall damage.
Getting a taunt kill period
ftfy
ftfy
Bonus points if it's during humiliation and you're on the losing team.
