When I have a few rage days as scout where I can't hit shit and am constantly killed by soldiers, pyros and heavies, and then all of a sudden it all comes together and I turn into Clockwork on CP Granary. Obviously I'm rubbish in the grand scheme of things but felt like an absolute god today dominating 5 people at once. All of a sudden I just didn't miss and my movement was (for me anyway) brilliant.
I love getting shield bash kills only just for the sound that it makes. It's like the machina except more common and not as extreme.
Playing Medic is rewarding if your team knows what's going on <3
Stopping an enemy uber dead because your Kritz pocket was running Holiday Punch.
I love MannPower. [t]http://i.imgur.com/6FuZHQq.jpg[/t] It's [t]http://i.imgur.com/22xgZvI.jpg[/t] Really [t]http://i.imgur.com/eytqm6O.jpg[/t] Fun! [t]http://i.imgur.com/Q7MZYSz.jpg[/t]
Ew a raw potatoes. Mannpower is literally a potato farm. Pubstompers are farmers.
[t]http://republicanhour.com/wp-content/plugins/akismet/potato-farmer-i1.jpg[/t] That's indeed a portrait of my glorious person when playing on Valve servers.
A hat drop! Rebel Rouser! and it came with 2 weapons and a crate! Now that's a happy drop!
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/mvm/custom/ghoul.jpg[/thumb] i love making missions. you spend hours into a notepad getting bored and depressed and then you test it and it smacks a grin on your face.
I was playing on a payload server and somehow it came down to me against two guys, 2 scouts. They're kicking my ass, I'm getting wiped. They'd just won three rounds in a row, two against one, and had used spawncamping to beat me down. I've got five seconds to respawn. Suddenly, two other guys join just as the cart's reaching the final terminal, one a pyro, the other an engi. The pyro goes in, kicks their asses, the engi builds a nest, repeat until my scout contract's complete. They keep telling me I'm "only winning by pity" so I turn in the scout contract I just completed. Silver Rank, Factory New Dressed to Kill Minigun. They are FURIOUS, teams switch, my guys leave, the one on the other team I'd gotten a revenge kill on rage quits, the last guy leaves with a "You wo by pity." If those Engi and Pyro are reading this, I owe you guys a MASSIVE favor.
I got a free hat from the mann co store package thing, a gentlemans gatsby.
The people on my team and I managed to make a spinbot hacker on the enemy team ragequit after half of us scored dominations on him due to our snipers throwing their jarate at him and our scouts throwing mad milk at him at the same time, resulting in us completely mopping the floor with him. He only got around 12 kills before he gave up
was playing on pipeline as a pyro, Stock, detonator, powerjack, Doing EXTREMELY well with the Detonator which usually never happens for me, Some one I'm dominating Calls me a "wm1 no skill" and "fire man sure is a hard character" his words not mine, So I waited. I began placing my shots more carefully, making sure that if I saw him, he was my target, and with each kill, I taunted and shit talked and it felt..so..good. Eventually he started spamming binds, but I continued to kill him and he eventually went and sat in spectate, he was there a good twenty minutes before I decided I wanted to stop playing, but not before getting on mic and telling him personally that I beat him, that was the day I went full Sperg.
homewrecker pyro = mann's(engi's) best friend

Yeah dude the reason I was able to burn you and half your team to death from behind is because I'm just mindlessly running forward.
You're not suppose to close the gap between you and them by using W. You are suppose to backpedal up to them, turn around and then flame them. Rinse and repeat if they walk away from you.
I managed to get unbox a Corona Australis!
homewrecker pyro = mann's(engi's) best friend
I never use any other melee than Homewrecker, even if there are no Engineers around. I like to be prepared, you never know when one appears and gets his buildings sapped.
I really feel I've earned those 3 kills on my Strange Homewrecker. It's most often the worst of your 3 weapon slots for melee range, and it's a melee weapon. The stars really had to align to kill anyone with that thing.
Homewrecker is good for dropping down on buildings.

I got a second hat drop, the Bonk Boy!
Unboxed this thing earlier today Not that great value-wise and all, but it's the first unusual weapon I've ever owned so that's neat either way :v:
I gotta say it's refreshing how well Landfall plays compared to most other CTF maps in the game, and how people, even on Valve servers, tend to actually try and play the objective, so matches are oten actually back-and-forth and end with one team winning in a reasonable amount of time. Normally, I dislike CTF in TF2 in general, and I've got a low opinion on most of its popular official maps like 2fort and Turbine. This includes (no offense) the playerbase that adores the mode and the kind of endless stalemate mentality these sorts of maps are played with (somewhat experienced people don't try for the objective even remotely and just goof off or rack up easy kills in tight hallways while the 5+ Gibus Engies per team turtle like there's no tommorow; watching paint dry is probably more dynamic than your average Valve ctf server match). But Landfall actually sees teams both attacking and defending, has Sentry spots that can be taken out from multiple angles, people that play on evenings at least give a damn to some degree, and you can see Medics, actual ubers being deployed, people going the right classes to deal with sentries etc. Maybe it's the map, maybe it's the fact that people playing it on Tough Break servers are mostly a different crowd than you typical 2Fort or Turbine enthusiasts (well, newbie Engies setting up next to others and stealing their metal are a given, but still), but I've actually had some fun, exciting CTF matches in the last few weeks. Probably for the first time in years, ever since Doublecross stopped being played on non-Valve servers. The mode still has issues, such as the way the flag returning/timer works, but I'm really starting to think the worst part of the mode (for me) isn't necessarily the mode's rules itself as much as the 2 dominant maps (2Fort and Turbine, ofc) being terrible for actually serious play, plus the fact that people that enjoy the mode seem to deliberately treat it as some kind of eternal TDM stalemate fest Purgatory in enclosed maps with limited options.
The joy of making a cocky trickstab spy ragequit it very satisfying.
Just dropped another hat!
Just dropped another hat!
Which one?
Just dropped another hat!
How many god damn hats did you drop since they started dropping again, you absoloute lunatic? On Topic: I started to use some weapons I hardly used back in the day... I mis-judged so many things, you wouldn't believe it. :v:
Which one?
Pom-Pommed Provocateur
How many god damn hats did you drop since they started dropping again, you absoloute lunatic?
3 with this one, I'm receiving a hat drop almost daily! And.. it feels weird
I personally get a kick out of seeing the ways people die sometimes. While waiting to respawn once, I spec'd an engineer on our team. It was quiet, there were no opposing team members around. He pulled out his toolbox and plopped down a sentry. After taking a second to admire his work, he then spontaneously blew up along with the sentry. I'm not sure if some crafty demoman hid mines around or something, but it cracked me up. Same with those soldiers who try to rocketjump with low HP, or demomen who charge off a cliff to their death.
