Anyone wants to join me and few other FAPS guys on HR heist? WE need one more guy
Isn't that GTA?
Oh my fucking god, kill me [editline]19th March 2016[/editline] No wonder no one joined :suicide:
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/63071156/tf/mm01.jpg[/t] Got to play my first real MM game today. We lost, i played on like 10fps, but man, it was AMAZING. The first game took ages, the top 3 scoreboard had the numbers 82/77/77 on it when it ended, and no team was the clear favorite. Even with a lag issue that would've caused me to stop playing if i was playing on a pub, this is genuinely the most fun i ever had with TF2. Last but not least, the match was on foundry, and i played so much Foundry in my life, you wouldn't believe it. *cough* DISREGARD THAT!

Playing 2fort to fuck around, Ridiculously good pyro joins, Nails every single reflect, puff n sting with the flare, the perfect pyro...too perfect. I go get intel and go up spiral and there he is waiting at the top, I know he's anticipating a rocket so I don't fire one, I just wait and approach...and then we're face to face and he still doesn't do anything, another soldier comes in past red spawn (the pyro is focused on me, cannot see him, other soldier shoots rocket at him and he perfectly reflects it to me) which is enough to boost me out the room with the hole in the floor, Fucker is hacking, so I keep going for intel and just fucking Walk right past him out the door every time.

Today I discovered what it's like to be able to pick up robots' weapons. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/477752250543415128/C7DDA913E740C41E842D25333A78FC37D00F4EAD/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/477752250543457821/E7C7E154A2D76AE9E16DB189779DA34B6D274D77/[/t] And it is glorious.
I started maining medic a while back, I'm at 160 hours now and the crossbow might be the most rewarding weapon in this game. I just saved a demoknight who took heavy damage and did an insanely high trimp. He probably touched the skybox between 1st and 2nd on snowycoast and I hit him with an arrow in the middle of his downward arc for 1xx hp. I yelled out loud. Also when I'm healing someone with the medigun and another teammate gets near with low hp I usually quickly switch to crossbow, flick arrow them and switch back to medigun (which sounds easier to do than it is when they are very near and moving). Idk if the term "flick healing" exists yet, but I'm coining it.
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/4.jpg[/thumb] when the hidegroups are so bad you can pretend to have 4 cosmetics
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/TF2/4.jpg[/thumb] when the hidegroups are so bad you can pretend to have 4 cosmetics
I have a picture somewhere of my scout having 5 cosmetics: 3 from my scout, and 2 from my soldier.
Queued up in MM with a friend, Go to Viaduct He plays Soldier, I usually roll Medic. Got put against these obnoxious little shits who just kept spouting memes and insults, both have edgy matching names, playing scout, go figure. Got a high level comp Sniper on our team, for the most part he would totally destroy the enemy team. Whenever he would get to around low health I would just pop the QuickFix uber on him to piss off the scouts. They could barely get out of spawn so wasting uber wasn't really even an issue. Eventually they get mad and rage quit 2 minutes into the first round. Was a good time.
If they leave in matchmaking, does the game end and not count?
If they leave in matchmaking, does the game end and not count?
If someone leaves it doesn't count, but it DOES count the games already won or lost before someone left.
If they leave in matchmaking, does the game end and not count?
Yes unfortunately, but seeing the rage quit was worth it.
Half the matchmaking games I got on ended before they even started because someone left.
So, i joined a random pub on barnblitz. I was the fourth player to join, and the second guy in my team was a stock soldier called I_LOVE_TF2. I thought that was kinda funny, but left it at that. Thing is, he was really one of the only people actually playing the game in that pub, and he tried and tried and tried to push. After two rounds, while i was dead (we were getting rolled quite a bit,) i saw him picking up my rocket launcher and straight getting a double kill with it. At that point i said "Yknow what, fuck it" and gifted him a MM beta pass. Those things grow everywhere anyway, right? So, he opens voicechat. I can hear that he is clearly like 12 or so years old (i mean, he obviously was younger than my godchild). He was so goddamn happy because of that stupid pass and thanked me like a thousand times. So, yeah, you could say that that was a moment i really loved about TF2.
I rather like it when people have genuinely funny joke names. I was once in a match with a guy named "Suspiciously slow scout", which for whatever reason I found to be the funniest goddamn thing.

I just recently played a MM game with my group of friends against a full pyro team :P Turns out tomislav heavy wrecks pyros on gullywash.
I just recently played a MM game with my group of friends against a full pyro team :P Turns out tomislav heavy wrecks pyros on gullywash.
any kind of heavy wrecks pyros on any map.
any kind of heavy wrecks pyros on any map.
What if Heavy is not fighting back, though? :v:
What if Heavy is not fighting back, though? :v:
that's called being friendly and will make your team want to kill you as much as the enemy team
Somehow wrecking a team that had a viable comp, 2 soldiers, 2 medics with vaccs, a heavy and a lonesome dopey pyro who didn't seem to even be aware of what was happening more than half the time ( He didn't even have any equips or unlocks, he was just sorta there) with myself and a few buds who matchmaked on a whim and did nothing but play DM style felt pretty nice. 6vs5(Us) because one of our players kept crashing
any kind of heavy wrecks pyros on any map.
Unless they all peak and flare shot the heavies constantly from a difference.
Felt awesome on Upward earlier to point-blank reflect kill this soldier whom everyone believed was aimbotting (he wasn't, he was just really good) with his direct hit. Every time I came across him after that he wouldn't fire at me. Of course, he was a galaxy ahead of me in terms of skill, but it felt good nonetheless to have briefly matched him and for him and for him to be adapting his playstyle slightly because of me.
Shotgun Heavy is pretty fun.
Shotgun Heavy is pretty fun.
Agreed. Going shotgun heavy with panic attack is actually more fun now than actually using a minigun.
Its great on payload when all the blue teams runs out as fat scouts. The shotgun is pretty good too isnt it.
