when i'm using poor weapons like directhit and making opponents rageswitch to the same gun to "show me"
they just perform worse than if they had stuck with their regular weapon and they lose the round
it is beautiful
I hate it when I meet a direct hit soldier that just clicks you once and then clicks you again while you're in the air and you can do nothing about it. Every single time you meet him.
If you can do that shit, Direct Hit is less of a "poor" weapon, and more of a "OH MY GOD GET AWAY FROM ME FUCKFACE" kind of a weapon. Its only downside is completely ignored if you never miss and aren't fighting a crowd.
On other news I love the feeling when someone's trying to melee you and you just pull off the swing that kills the other person, especially if it's a crit.

Since I use and adore the Milkman set for Scout. I got my dream item for it last night.

long range direct rocket hits
"that scout on the far side of the map looks like hes running that way"
*rocket*
its a crit
2 seconds of tension later
270dmg
"OOOOHH!"
Nothing's more satisfying than making a mini-crit airshot with the DH after you popped your enemy up in the air.
Speaking of Soldier weapons I absolutely love the Tank Buster Set.
Bought a S.Black Box and a Battalion's Backup just because of it.

25 buds in mixed unusuals.
Surprised he took it. Considering he and the other trader was asking for 50 buds.
I am overall super happy and proud of my Scout loadout

Holy crap how much money am I staring at here, because I'm pretty sure it's in the 4 digit range.

$400,000
Holy crap how much money am I staring at here, because I'm pretty sure it's in the 4 digit range.
In total my Scout loadout is worth; 798.27 USD.
But if I were to charge 50 buds for my Shortstop (Which I will never sell.) = 1394 USD. (+ Hat included.)

Missing action slot items are grappling hooks in disguise

(I connected to a server with nobody on it and I guess the game pitied me)
As dumb as this may sound, whenever I save my Medic by throwing him a Sandvich. Not just because it helps us win, but I guess because I feel Medics get taken for granted by a lot of players. It's a way for me to let them know they're appreciated and that someone's looking out for them, too.
Since I play pubs mostly and there is almost never a medic and the shotgun is so good I usually run with a shotgun and I feel awful when a medic joins and he's nearly dying and I have no sandvich then he dies. :(

I must say i really like your Loadout, i never saw a more fitting set for the Milkman Hat
Nothing's more satisfying than making a mini-crit airshot with the DH after you popped your enemy up in the air.
Airshots with any other RL, seriously Direct Hit Airshots dont even count, the projectile speed makes it so damn easy.
the shotgun is so good (on heavy)
Hmm.
Hmmmmmmm.
You sure about that?
Anyways, just a quick list of a few things that I appreciate in TF2-
-Getting an airshot with any rocket launcher or pipe launcher (no, the Direct Hit is not "seriously easy", and I should know it took me a good 3 years before I was able to airshot anything)
-Reflect Rocket/Pyro kills
-Getting that cosmetic you've really wanted for a while and wearing it with pride
-Having a good night as Sniper and getting gnarly kills on Scouts and maybe a few Medic picks
-Flare punches
-Having an actual goof off round on maps like koth_sawmill where you don't even try to take it seriously, having fun trying to pull off market gardener kills
-Just having a good time listening to music and playing TF2 in general
-That feeling when you know you're going to get that unusual or otherwise really unique item soon and just thinking about all the cool stuff you're gonna do with them
-The fact that the game still hasn't gotten stale in over 6 years and that one can still enjoy it immensely, as buggy and unpolished graphics-wise the game is
I don't play Demo often but the Loose Cannon is so much fun. Loose Cannon jumping and the double donking noise are great, and the little buff it got lately really makes it a great weapon. Its just fun to use
waiting for this until the time's right, and there we go

All you have to do is look at the first-person animations to see what I mean.
Lots of weapons just re-use other weapons' reloads and have insane clipping because of it, whereas other games go far enough to even give specific cosmetic changes their own first-person animations.
The graphics are also unoptimized as hell, doesn't help that a lot of cosmetics don't have LODs.
Also clipping.
Honestly the game could come off as a beta if it wasn't for how storied it is. Lots of little graphical glitches plus all the bugs that happen every new update.

Oh, I misunderstood you then. I thought that it's more common to criticize the graphics when the game first comes out, so I literally thought that you have a problem with the original graphics and artstyle TF2 has. Those problems you listed definitely exist in the game, but they did not when the game came out. It's just bad planning, laziness and poor care of their product by Valve that have caused those.

I've long wished that they'd give different weapons different animations and little quirks, just for a little variety. The Reserve Shooter can have loads of recoil (BANG), the Soda Popper could leak Bonk! all over when firing, the Battalion's Backup could occasionally play bits of morse code or something... there's all kinds of things they could do to make some weapons stand out. Bonus: Valve's thing lately has been trying to get people to use underused items like the Backup and Concheror; giving them a little extra something visually has proven many times to be a great way to do that.

I really want some easter egg reloads like Battlefield Hardline has just because I think it'd fit really well.
When I use a stock weapon, like the Rocket Launcher or the Sniper Rifle, I am always struck by how great the extra detail they put into their animations look, compared to the seriously lackluster new weapons.

I don't play heavy much, so i've never used the tomislav. I really wonder why they didn't just tweak the placement of it in idle position just a little bit after I saw it earlier today.

Heavy giving sandviches to everyone in the server and does not kill no matter what
