I felt it was too plain without them, though their color may need to be adjusted. Boots section intended to be paintable. Hand was originally going to be more pirate-hook-like but developed into a mechanical crab-claw-like device. I have tried to model the claw hand myself, [URL="https://i.imgur.com/0CwPEha.png?1"]here[/URL] is a screenshot from a few days ago. I have since made the claw parts larger and smoother. If you are able to make it faster and better then be my guest to claim it. [B]Everything else is beyond my ability at the moment and is claimable. [/B] Also, I'm unsure if the claw concept is even possible without using custom anims. That is, of course, if it is a weapon like the gunslinger and not just a cosmetic. I intended it to be a reskin or variant of the gunslinger, but it could also be a secondary like the short circuit. Maybe it could fire like a harpoon and act as a short-range grapple hook? Primary fire could grab pickups and dropped weapons while secondary fire acts like the mannpower grapple. Both methods have a max range of a few player lengths (maybe as much as Heavy's fist tauntkill), and the secondary fire uses some metal so it doesn't synergize too well with the Rescue Ranger. It could then have a taunt kill where the engy does the Organ Grinder animation, and the hand shoots out. If it hits an enemy, they get stunned, and when the claw retracts, it kills them and spawns a Bat Outta Hell as a nod to MK.
the idea of giving engies a grappling hook so they can put sentries where they shouldn't is at best a nightmare. specially given most maps aren't that optimized with nobuild zones.

Any spot that a sentry would be too powerful in is already possible to get to with the wrangler and RR. If a spot is so imbalanced that no engies should ever be there, then that is a problem with the map. That is all besides the point, however, as it is just a suggestion to how the model could be implemented. If it isn’t possible to give it adequate animations, it could just be a cosmetic and not show up in first person. The grapple idea was just a suggestion for how it could be a weapon without needing to be fully animated.

That could be an interesting idea with some reworks. It'd certainly speed up set-up/roll-out times for Engineers. Just imagine pro-level Engineers walking in a perfectly smooth path, throwing buildings to their out-of-reach optimum places as he runs to the point.
