What's with all the splinter threads from Emporium in TF2 Section?
Its mostly people lowkey mocking the new threads system that almost shut down both the emporium and speculation station if I had to guess
Hey lads. I didn't know where to ask so I decided to ask here. So I got on GB after years on not using it to request if someone could port over the Emperor from JoJo to the Capper/Lugermorph and then I got a response from someone saying this:

Is this true because I've never done skin mods for TF2.
A mod came around to the Emporium thread and announced he was going to shut down the thread when he woke up and told everyone to just make threads about topics they want to start instead of lumping them all together into one 'megathread' like this one.
So in response, a lot of us made a lot of mock threads and followed this one mod's piss poor advice, which lead to a LOT of users being permabanned.
The Emporium didn't end up being closed though, because it wasn't actually meant to be and it was just really bad communication between the mods.

Trying to pull off a weirder design for a snipper riffle, this one being based off the Mechem NTW Anti-Materiel Rifle.
While I'm satisfied with the overall shape and appearance of this weapon, I'm still going to clunk it up, make it look really industrial and old-fashioned before officially releasing this.
Any other pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Have to agree... While I feel there's plenty of actual ball caps in the game already. This one takes it to a more unique approach that differentiates from the rest with how the colors are done, making it appear more unique amongst other options.
Simplify the barrel, You've got too many elements from the original gun making it noisy.
Since today was my last day of school before Summer Vacation, I thought, "why not celebrate by making a summer-themed weapon concept"?
It's still really early, just some rough line art. It's supposed to be a BONK!-themed bubble gun for the Scout, based pretty loosely on both an actual bubble gun from the 50s and the Winger. I'm actually thinking up the weapon stats right now, going for a no-damage, shits-and-giggles-type weapon.

Your concept looked a bit warm and fluffy; Certainly an interesting grip and trigger guard.
Yhe "warm and fluffy" feel was kind of what I was going for , considering most bubble guns are made from cheap plastic. I love how your rework makes it look more like an energy weapon, which although is not what I'm trying to make, looks amazing nonetheless.
I do want to use your clip design, though!
