Yes, it means compiling the model, and you may need to make changes to the model and recompile as you go, but it's a worthwhile practice. Having trouble swapping animations in Crowbar, swapping the stock Shotgun animations for the ones used for The Original. Basically just renaming the .smd files for each animation for The Original to be same as the Shotgun's, and overwriting the original ones. This worked before when I switched Demo's bottle animations for the Eyelander a while ago. It compiles fine, but it doesn't show up at all ingame, even on a local server. The shotgun's model is just completely invisible. Is there something I'm doing wrong? [B][U]Edit:[/U][/B] Just noticed, it also makes The Original's animations not show up either. Everything else seems to work fine though

Looks solid. The cylinder on the bottom of the gun barrel looks out of place to me, though. And is the oil drum a bit conical? The top of it looks smaller than the bottom, or is that just the camera angle?

I just got rid of it for now because it looked wacky and gross.

Hey guys, I got a question for ya... I know that this is all speculation and I'll prolly get met with predictable comments... But worth a shot asking... See I've been for the past 2 months going crazy working on 4 more sets for the jungle update... They are all pretty much done (1 item left) and then I'll prolly be spending a week on promotional pictures and whatnot... So the question is this: [B]Do you guys think that if I get my stuff out in the next two weeks will I have enough time to have a shot at the jungle update?[/B] I already have 15 items submitted... But this update is something special to me due to the theme and I don't want these last 2 months of work to be wasted. For the longest time it sounded like we were getting a Pyro Update and then a Jungle Update... But then it was sounding like they were going to bunch the two updates together... Now its sounding like the Jungle update is coming out first... So yeah... Mildly panicking on missing a due date. So yeah guys... I have heard some of you Saxxy winners have recently visited Valve and got a peek at their jungle progress and was wondering if it's not a breach in contract or whatnot... What do you predict will be the Jungle update's release? Anycase thanks in advance guys. :)

They released a crate a little bit ago so Im sure theyd leave some wiggle room between that crate and the update. Mundee's Wild Ride was submitted like 2 days before the update and it was still included so even if the update is super soon you can still get it in last minute. Keep at it.

how the fuck do you make a complex scout shirt without a billion triangles i swear to god his armpits are broken enough to fill the 1400 triangle limit and I have to have every single one of those vertices in my shirt so it doesnt fall apart and turn into a dumpster fire in-game this is unbearable, how in the world are you supposed to accomplish this
Newsflash: the model wasn't made with alternate clothing in mind; they optimized it to what they needed at the time and as such doesn't accommodate drastic changes.
