I have an idea for the workshop, yet I lack the know how and the ability to create models, nor do I want to, as I see it as a very hard process, and I don't really have the time to do it so instead I started looking to see if anyone is interested in making my idea come to life. asked a friend who submitted to the workshop often, they didn't seem interested, and they instead directed me here. so. give me some criticism on this idea, and if you want to help make it, add me on steam, heres my steam link: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/id/Smithy-B/[/url] This is the original idea. I made my own bones because the moving parts of the gun didn't correspond to the locations of the bones for vm_weapon_bone, vm_weapon_bone_1 etc, but I don't know how to connect them to the sniper arms rig. Do I just rename the vm_weapon_bone etc bones on the arms to the names of the bones on the weapon?

Here's a little taunt concept I had for a while but never got to make a pic related to it. How about a "resting at the bonfire" taunt for Demoman? Trying to get back into the swing of things after some ups-and-downs I've been having. I know it's getting sizable. I plan on updating a few slides down the road... Also I have already made a few of the tweaks you guys suggested... Question: Have any of you guys ever thought of making an official pack of fixes to submit to Valve? I don't mean fixes to cosmetics that should have been polished before submission, I mean for things that still haven't been fixed by Valve's moronic employees. Things like the Minigun's muzzle particle, or the fact Heavy's gloves are still blue. Or even how the medibeam doesn't even root properly to the muzzle bone of Mediguns. Proper shell ejection orientations and for god's sake, a grenade launcher model that correctly displays the amount that are loaded. Does anybody even care about how amateurishly polished this game STILL is?

And in true Valve fashion all these bugs and inconsistencies were never brought up or addressed and I doubt anything will be done because it would require work. Coincidentally most of these have been fixed by the community over the last decade but then rather than compiling and understanding how to replicate these fixes or even better contacting the fans who took the time and care to do so and thus get an understanding of what needed to be fixed, Valve said fuck you with sv_pure 1 because we want our game to look "consistent for streaming" ironically when those mod fixes made the game look [I]more[/I] consistent than at it's base.
