We are talking about the Surgeon's Squeezebox right now. Your argument is just a strawman. The TF2 comics are not canon. Therefore the Sniper in the game is still Australian.
The comics are utterly canon.
For some reason after the update It just doesn't want to work at all, and seems to generate corrupted hlmv.rf files. Even after deleting those and rebooting i'm still getting these error messages before it crashes.
Yeah, sorry, I recently got a couple of boats and the sea life has been taking a lot of my time to fix bugs like that. Here's a tool I have been refining over the years and I am now adapting so it can be installed on other setups, it would be for Photoshop CS6(maybe earlier versions too, would need to test). Its a Photoshop panel that lets you easily manage and export textures to VTF format: Stuff it does: -No more "File > Save as" and folder browsing bullshit. -No more messing up your VTF export/flag settings. -Works with photoshop 64Bits aka x64, so you can work with larger PSD files. -Work at higher resolutions i.e. 2048x2048 and have the exporter automatically scale down to 1024x1024 (or whatever res you like) when exporting to VTF. -Use a single PSD to manage and contain all the material's maps (color, color_blue, normal, selfillum ... or custom map name). -Export PSD Group(s) layers as separate VTFs. -Automatically copies specular map to Alpha channel when exporting color maps or normal map. -Automatically exports to DXT1 (no alpha) if no alpha Group layer is defined (aka not exporting a VTF with an empty alpha channel that costs double the file size for nothing). -Material editor (similar to TFMV). -Model viewer manager and auto refresh HLMV and material changes on save/export. -Open VMT file for current PSD/Material. -More stuff I am probably forgetting... Didn't show it in the video but there's a panel to setup different maps and export size, format and flags settings per map:

I have no doubts that this taunt will get in, it's super high quality and quirky without being too ridiculous for the game. ------ Since I'm here, @ everyone, how could I improve my concept art? Is there something inherently wrong with them? I imagine they're pretty low quality compared to other concept art posted here, or is it more a general disinterest with the concepts themselves that results in nobody really commenting on them? My examples, latest digital: [t]https://i.imgur.com/YhpFxyP.png[/t] My latest traditional from a while ago: [t]https://i.imgur.com/x4nImkh.jpg[/t]

My examples, latest digital: [t]https://i.imgur.com/YhpFxyP.png[/t] My latest traditional from a while ago: [t]https://i.imgur.com/x4nImkh.jpg[/t]
Well first off, there is a small content pack going around somewhere with good quality templates of all the mercs and their faces. I would try to hunt those down or ask someone here to give' m to you. Also try to use colors from the official tf2 colorpallet Second: I would really do some research on existing items and items on the workshop to prevent making duplicates. Generic tophats are a bid overdone by now, not to say you can not try to come up with something unique/interesting to do with tophats. The mouse one could be interesting but should be redone on the actual model to give a better representation of what the item would look like ingame/on the model. Beside that, try to improve your art on a technical level, add shading/texture/detail, learn how to draw all kind of clothing items, good color use, etc... Things like this are learned over time by doing lots of them, use mainly digital media but don't shy away from learning drawing techniques the oldskool way. This might sound like a lot of effort, but know that when a Modeler/texturer/promoguy decides to dedicate his/here time on one of your items he/she must be as stoked about the item as you are. Good looking concepts really help people getting stoked and come with the added benefit of providing visual information which makes modeling easier.
Kind of new at concept art making. This coat is inspired by the Metal Gear Solid character Decoy Octopus, as this coat resembles his trenchcoat. Up for grabs and hard critique. Edit: I've made a better version, where it looks more like a standalone coat.
Ok, V2 of that Octopus suit. I have no idea on how to delete previous posts, so sorry if i'm jacking this thread up. I've made it shorter on the leg part, and the suit closing more clear. Note: The white isn't letter, it's just puff. The main parts of the jacket are leather.
I have no idea on how to delete previous posts
Yeah if you want to delete a post, just edit it with -snip- or something similar. We'll understand. Also I realised Engineer only has two backpacks both rather small, the biggest having the monkey fella in it. Made me kinda wish for a bigger chunkier backpack.

It's raining concepts, hallelujah. This is the last for today. Note: If the texturerer wants, they can make the retroreflectors shine in the alpha or something. Claimable!

The Mannana Peeled skin has the same thing, instead of blood and paint falling off, the yellow parts just get those brown/orange parts, so the banana just starts going bad. It's great and I wish more skins did that.

It's a very cool concept and does a lot more with the wear levels to make them unique.

Cause we don't have a proper importer for this, its all kinda ghetto in showcasing how it works. Might as well just be submitting a pile of textures to valve and hope they do something with them.
