Wow, It's look alike any western company modern day website.

We make games Man I sure hope so
They've been rare, but they've done other acquisitions more recently outside of actual games. Last year they acquired Impulsonic and turned their audio tech into Steam Audio API. I wanna say there was something else too, but I don't remember.
Sites down, Forbidden. It was fun while it lasted

https://valvesoftware.com now loads up the steam community https://i.imgur.com/eagVwdp.jpg
I just get a forbidden error.
Was working for me earlier today, doesn't anymore.
They might be waiting until after E3 to update it publicly. Not trying to insinuate anything groundbreaking will be announced, but I am expecting something for that In the Valley of the Gods game to be shown there, and they might just want to wait until they can put something for that game on the site as well. (Some of the footage of mocap acting and the lighting test may even be from that game.)
The Portal 2 Announcer VA did call VNN on stream and say they'll unveil the Orange Box Volume 2 at E3
That for until next Valve's Artifact trailer to be released.
Was that ever verified as really him or? I have no clue why a VA with a job to keep would do something like that tbh.
VNN asked him about what his wife works on at Valve, and VNN accepted the answer (was cats), the guy also really did sound like the Portal 2 announcer. However, I will not be surprised if there is no Valve showing at E3.
Bluetooth connectivity enabled for the Steam Controller
The Valve's new website is now backup Valve Corporation
Something a little weird, writer Jon Blakeley's profile on the new site is "Jon joined the ranks of Valve in 2011. We got a lot more strict about hiring after that." Didn't they fire a lot of people in 2011 after Portal 2 came out?
I've got an old pc with a version of steam dating to around june 2015. I want to use it in offline mode, but it seems that it doesn't remember any accounts. Is it still possible to run it without it updating steam? I mainly want to use it for the old big picture mode and it's steam controller support
I think it's meant to be a joke like the firing and hiring with TF2. They fired a lot of people after the Augmented Reality thing which didn't go anywhere but used up millions of dollars at Valve.
And also hour ago, I ask Nat Brown (one guys at Valve) about accident from last week, he responds with... https://twitter.com/natbro/status/996481216785268736 And also ask questioning on why choose red over orange. In sarcastic way. https://twitter.com/natbro/status/996487042568613888
Getting ready for the three hour analysis videos about that Tweet just cus he said the word "Portal".
I really hope ValveNewsNetwork isn't literal minded on this.
You're tempting fate.
Steam Link app was released for android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.valvesoftware.steamlink
Just tried out the Steam Link app with Metal Gear Rising, my Wireless Xbone Controller (still connected to my PC, ergo no latency there) and the Mistral boss fight. Didn't visually notice any real stutter to speak of at 25 MB/s, Fast settings on my home network.

Valve has silently remove the L4D2 beta from Steam
I guess valve is doing some spring cleaning
