It's their first workshop contribution and they're new to the community. I'm not particularly fond of this thread these days because of its whole premise but this person came here just tonight in confidence to join the community and take part in it all with their first ever contribution - and ultimately, it's not that bad. It's a legitimate item submission that people put work into, unlike the many submissions which are mere 3ds Max screenshots or outright fake pictures. Who are you to judge so harshly and turn someone away at the doorstep? No wonder the community is seen in such a poor light when people like you are so quick to judge new contributors for such petty superiority highs. Don't like their item? Give them feedback to improve, don't be a horse's ass without any redemption to your words. It's just plain rude.

It's just an item - one you don't personally agree with. Don't get so verbally assaulting of someone's work just because it doesn't fit your own point of view. sure, what I said was off-color and crass and rude and probably unacceptable
but I'm not particularly willing to concede to a group of people who have shown bias against me since day one and have always stared down at me with particular scrutiny above just about anyone else, and I absolutely will not apologize
