People of varying skills of talent exist here in the workshop community, and to be honest? Vipes does need to improve a lot in his art, but that doesn't mean he should be shunned as horribly as this. Like unless the guy's guilty of kicking puppies or burning down an orphanage to make you act like you have a personal vendetta against him, I say that Vipes is just an artist who's still learning a lot on how to draw and pitch his concepts. Not everyone who illustrates is absolutely perfect and will improve over time, but saying that they put no effort into what they do is a colossal stretch.
And doing some digging through the art this guy's posted, I feel as though I'm inclined to say I've seen far, far worse art pitched as concept art. If anything, this guy's work is actually not that bad; He could use improvement, but it's still pretty decent.

You know, there's a huge difference between joking around with not-so good looking items, and then people literally just straight up ripping shit into them.
Honestly, if I could speak to the content creators, I'd give them constructive criticism. Make's learning how to make stuff ten times better, and gives the creator a better understanding.

Well the entire purpose of this thread is to have a friendly laugh at all the interesting/weird/sloppy things on the TF2 workshop. It's not here to be rude or criticize artists.
BainTrain's post was WAY over the line - there is absolutely no reason to rag on someone's work like that. Seeing all the boxes he got on that post (and his other posts) makes me realize that Facepunch here community is, while unnecessarily dramatic at times, not cancerous. Anyone who posts garbage like that is immediately banned.
