There's 372 replies to it at the time of this post.
Almost ALL of the suggestions either light the opponent on fire or crit when they hit a burning player. Sometimes both. I can understand the ones where they suggest from-behind crits, as the Calefactor is modelled similarly to the Backburner, but still.
Still, I reckon my suggestion of 'extend afterburn duration on burning targets' would be interesting. I posted it to the thread, and the following post showed interest in the concept.
