Why do people post stats and act as if percents don't even exist?
Example: +10 clip

Not really. If a person's modelled a weapon based around a particular stat idea or gimmick, putting the stats in the Workshop description might help Valve create similar stats for it should it ever get in-game, or at least know what angle you were going for.
Some stats can be gleamed from a model itself (for example, a shotgun with a large drum and short barrel suggests increased clip size and more spread), but others might be less obvious.

quite a few people think the first suggestion of the thread was from me because they don't double check who made the weapon vs who made the stat thread. then they proceed to rate down because the stats "i" gave are bad.
