I was under the impression that any image with text over it is considered an image macro.
I believe there should be a more distinct definition what is allowed and what is not!
I think image macros count for things you'd find on memegenerator and such sites as well as annoying overused reaction gifs.

That was made by the same guy who spent a big chunk of time hexxing items like dispenser and bonk cans onto the characters and calling them items. I might've bought it was his if not for his past experience being so bad just to suddenly shoot up to making something complex like that.

Honestly, I think it's too much of a downgrade to have been ripped from the other guys model. Plus, it does several things differently, like the handle (as you mentioned), but also the tank in the back and there is no grove by the blade holder.
This wasn't on the TF2 Workshop, but it provides a strange view into the world of workshop commenters.

Maybe newbie modelers are so resistant to advice is because they think that people are nocking hem instead of actually giving them constructive criticism. Instead of useful comments, for example, many people leave snide remarks and they believe that to be the only feedback they'll get.
