To put his time into perspective, when I first was able to play PC TF2 back in 2010, for a full year, starting over the summer, I literally played from around noon to midnight, nonstop (except minor pauses for food and stuff like that of course).
I still play at least 3 hours every day and it's been 4 years, and even then I have more than 1,000 hours less in TF2 than he has in Source. He's had Source open for almost a year straight.
