idk it hasn't seemed too bad for me. It annoys me how my 357 hand turns into HECU hands while I'm playing SP though.

There's actually a few ways it can happen. Same with areaportals, hints, and other general dev brushes that are supposed to be invisible. The problem's often on the user's end (as is the case here, I bet), but some failures w/ the BSP or compile process can cause it as well.
That was pre-update save, but somehow the update managed to break old saves. Never seen Source behaving like this.
The last update broke saves as well, gave everyone their MP hands

If you have here, don't play off of old saves after updates, that's asking for trouble. [I]However,[/I] giving them to the devs so they can see why they broke can really help the game. If you get the A.I. Di[sabled] message on screen, try typing [CODE]ai_disable[/CODE] in the console. The command toggles, it's not 0/1 like most other console commands. (Many maps require a node graph update on their first load from the patch, not sure if that might be related or not.) Everything else you listed I can't say I've run into, so unfortunately no idea how to help. I will say, on my first load up after the patch my MP5 was invisible, however a game cache verification fixed that, so if these are consistent issues for you it might be worth the try.
Yeah, the viewmodel texture is totally the HD Hand mod's fault. I had to update.You can download from GB like Sage said, or the HD Hands and Gluon are on Workshop now. [I]But[/I] the system is still broken so you have to extract yourself (I explain in the description). If I had to guess, chances are the rest of your issues are caused by loading an old save.
Hey crypt, do you plan on modifying the gloves at all for your HD hands? Some shiny rubber looking gloves might be cool.
I believe it's just about time everyone realizes they -have- to restart their SP game after a major update. If it wasn't obvious enough, you will always run into corruption problems if you don't start over.

I don't mind the glove, I just thought BM's stock sleeve was pretty ugly.
I still can't tell if the default HEV Suit sleeves for Black Mesa are retextured/spruced up Half-Life 2 arms with newly-modeled hands or what.
I'm a bit disappointed that Black Mesa: Hazard Course only supports the mod version, but I'll re-download it just for that.

[QUOTE=bucabuca;49417375]I have exactly the same problems with Crypt Hands, i really can't understand why all the textures are gone.[/QUOTE] Unless my file structure was just jacked up from the start, it looks as though the Crossfire Update moved all the files for weapons from being loose (in other words the v_glock file path was materials/models/v_glock) to being organized under the weapons folder. Because of this, old mods that edited textures, or hell, even just edited vmts or the arms model, broke. It's an easy fix, just open up the vpk with gcfscape, extract the files, then add a new weapons folder and cut and paste the old folders into it, then turn it into a vpk again. You will need to unsub from any workshop submissions that have that problem, but still.

Additionally, it requires that I recompile maps (most of the textures are *2 BM's, so I need to rescale), so anytime CC ships a modified map, it would either break the mod on that map, or the mod would take priority and wouldn't have the bugfixes the update included. Not a workload I feel like keeping up with. Not to mention I made the textures for another mod project, not BM. I wish multiplayer wasn't dead, a few days ago I set up a server for me and my friend on dm_bounce and I forgot to set a password, so a bunch of randoms joined. It was pretty fun actually, the weapons felt balanced and the maps were pretty. A downside, the map felt empty because of how big they were compared to how many people joined. There was spaces of a few minutes were no killing happened because we ran around in circles trying to find each other :v: Spawncamping was also a problem, people placing down the blue-laser-mines (or whatever they are called) in the cave, and then we crowbar'd them to death.
