I don't know if it helps to diagnose the root of the problem but I've noticed ever since I've started having the bug that the bobcycle moves at the same speed regardless of what host_timescale is set to.

I've no idea if some devs still check this thread but is it possible to make the sprint function responsive like pre-ep2? See, when orangebox happened valve thought it would be a brilliant idea to make sprint impossible to trigger if you happen to be mid-air the second you press it. Problem is this makes movement extremely unresponsive and sprint still won't work if you keep the button held down even ages after touching the ground back. So you gotta mash it alot of times to get one good sprint depending on the ground variations. This nerfs combat and indeed a big chunk of fun. pre-2007 hl2 had unbound sprint and it was good. Now that I test again it doesn't seem consistent. I'm starting to think there's some really shitty random pattern with the sprint function. Or maybe it's my keyboard ghosting. I don't know, maybe others could confirm? BTW on we've got hostiles, the 2 rappel grunts in the osprey vent are broken as of the latest update. They just fall down into the fire instead of hovering at gordon's level.

might aswell report more broken stuff 1- Picking up a fassn pistol forces an automatic switch to the glock + inspection anim, as if it were the first time the player finds a glock. This happens with each instance 2. Drowning damage is too low. With 2 dmg per sec you can basically stay underwater 4x longer than the time it needs to run out of air pre-drown. I think I might have already talked about this 3. At the start of On A Rail, right after the dead garg there's a circular tram platform lowering down. Once the platform is low enough it's possible to duck and jump down and get under the platform before it ends its sequence. The platform isn't setup correctly and will just deal a minor 2 damage and then start going up again (moving brush default behavior). This effectively ends the game since you need the tram to progress at a later point, and there's no other way to bring the platform down. [thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/BMS/onaelevator.jpg[/thumb] 4. This strobing light is absolute cancer perf-wise. My PC is ass but runs fine in other better detailed areas of BM. This light stutters frame rates into oblivion. I'm no mapper expert but I'm assuming it's because the light bounces on so many surfaces around it (needlessly). It's super expensive. The Barney victim at the tentacles always keeps bugging out and never dies. This has kept happening in my games since like the crossfire update. It seems like it no longer uses projectile hitboxes so it acts like a tiny bullet. But that also means there's no longer any forgiveness and having your aim a tiny itty bit off an enemy will be a guaranteed miss while pre-update the old hitbox would have easily hit.
Haven't played this since the mod came out. Bought it. Any good visual enhancement mods?
