Publish tool for me sucks completely for a good effect in screenshots and etc, or someone can teach me how to correct upload BMS mods in workshop? So I'm not really a fan of that security-guard reskin that gets used in OaR Uncut for construction workers so I've decided to mash together a replacer model. Instead of going for the alpha design I'm basing it off Gus the forklift driver: [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/yU5zH5.png[/t] It's mostly L4D assets and it's still pretty early. Gotta replace the hands with black mesa's [sp]and figure out how to compile it. Keep with good work. I want to release some classic stuff too. I have two models ported by Paynamia(Skyninja) of Romka Grunts and a lot of retexture work for be more realistic and close to BM style (with some animations and behavior bugs because the new public beta and don't have gibs.) Setting up a custom folder to be the primary search path enables you to mod the game to do anything short of engine changes. Workshop's easier and allows mod makers to get much better coverage, custom allows people to do a lot more with mods.

With a huge thanks to Ninja_nub for helping me get the model into a more functional state, the construction worker is now usable in the game! [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/174678355046694912/404385461327364098/unknown.png[/img] Next step is texturing to bring them more closer to the uniforms Gus and the alpha workers wear [sp]and also make a gus facemap[/sp]

Gus, the alpha worker and their injured variants. Main idea I've got is that the green workers are general maintenance/labour and the orange alpha guys are more technical engineers who specialize in lab machinery [img]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/174678355046694912/404597243925102592/unknown.png[/img] jumpsuit textures are sort of a WIP right now, I want to do better with the engineer texture

I love this about Black Mesa as a concept. Something as innocuous as that one forklift guy in Half-Life's tram ride intro becoming a tangible portion of the facility's faculty that will live and die along with the scientists and guards.
