Ah dude. That [B]very[/B] soon is making my heart race. Because I'm pretty sure they have pulled that before, saying in a blog post that an update is coming soon and they just reveal it hours later haha. Good to have some clarification that the update it's actually nearly done. Hopefully it will arrive before october ends.

Let me guess, they are combining the Halloween stuff into it too

While I'm disappointed that it's not coming today, I'm very happy that the TF2 team at least acknowledged the anniversary and gave us some more info. Thank you for communicating with us, guys.

Pretty disappointing we don't get a 10th anniversary game update (at least not on the actual 10th anniversary) but it's good to hear we are in the home stretch!

Don't expect it until next monday at the absolute earliest.

so it either comes out next week, or is launched with the halloween update? they've been putting the "finishing touches" on this update for quite some time, so i honestly wouldnt even be surprised if it comes out once scream fortress is over.

Like, honestly, they could have thrown in a medal or something for everyone who logged in on the date.

Although, in the context of us waiting since last July, I do question their word choice of "imminent" if it's not this week. :v:

I personally would love if in the meantime they go ahead and activate previous Halloween events. I'm pretty sure they did it once a couple of days before the actual event.

I mean, isn't this what everyone expected? All this has done is deconfirmed the update for this week. It's been coming out "very soon" for the past couple of months.

20 trillion in damage done is actually sheer property damage from these asshole mercenaries blowing up everything, the state of New Mexico is probably bankrupt by now
