I would bring up the arguement that the update is going to be delayed until after the final, but it seems like it's tomorrow so it shouldn't be an issue.
You know what else was fun? Those month-long contests while the team worked on the updates. The WAR! Update in particular was one hell of a time (even if Demo lost to some pro-soldier posters...)
Catbots aren't dead. They're being actively developed and constantly improved. It's actually a general hack with auto aim, wall hack, silent aim, spy detecting etc. It can also do the bots, either freely acting, following instructions of a user or copying a "leader". They have pathing for several maps, not only Harvest, however Harvest's crazy sightlines make the map perfect. One of the lead developers quit, not the main one though. A quick visit by their Discord will give you more than enough info and if you ask around you'll realize how good the hack is and how bad it could become for the rest of us. All the bots that were manually banned got replaced shortly after. Only by making VAC to detect them or by securing the loopholes they're using will the hack actually be stopped. Judging by LMAOBox's prominence and unwillingness to die, I wouldn't hope for much. One "positive" aspect of this hack, is that it's open source, so valve could study it and come up with an easier and most effective solution than they otherwise could.
- Pyromancer and The replay achievements for viewcount are broken and can't be achieved normally.
I've unlocked Pyromancer just about 2 years ago to this day... I believe it's bugged but you can actually get that achievement. I believe the bug is just visual if I recall on either the website or in the actual game, but it still does keep going up. I'm still short about 70 achievements after 6.5k hours though. I could probably be closer if I actually tried doing some of these achievements, but I never honestly cared outside of back when achievement weapons were a thing. You should see in MvM where hackers are actually treated like gods by the lowly populace. votekick won't work if you're on your own. I put on my face of disgust for 40 minutes and report the accounts via steamcommunity. Nothing else to do :/

Feels like the love child of cheating in Singleplayer games and hacking in Multiplayer ones.
Lol, hacking in MvM is thing?! Feels like the love child of cheating in Singleplayer games and hacking in Multiplayer ones.
well why would they disable their tools just because they picked a different game mode?

I don't want those peeps ruining any fun you can get out of the game mode. and no, I don't give a shit about drops. I actually legit like playing MvM on occasions. It's a nice break away from standard PvP in TF2...

Honestly why bother playing a PvE mode when there is no challenge? It takes away the main fun of the gamemode.

Don't forget about F7 guys. Even if you can't kick them, you can at least report them.
that's exactly why canteens, refunds, revives and medic shield are horrible mechanics :zing:
I thought revives and medic shield were made to make medic not see worthless lol. Then again, it's still very much possible to run without medic either way, hah =P

Metas suck,dude
You should see in MvM where hackers are actually treated like gods by the lowly populace. votekick won't work if you're on your own. They: A. don't want to put in the effort -or- B. Don't know how to play the game
Lol, hacking in MvM is thing?! Feels like the love child of cheating in Singleplayer games and hacking in Multiplayer ones.
I could see people cheating for mvm so they can finish as many missions as possible as fast as possible.
People who actually cheat in MvM are rare. Its because mann up costs money, and they usually dont put in that a lot on the game itself. Only 1 person ive seen was cheating in mvm, but its more common on bootcamp and community servers.
Say that on an MVM server with at least one 150+ tours player and you'll get kicked. Metas suck, dude
I do, and have stated it many times. Then again I'm on tour 159 on Two Cities and people generally listen to me regardless. But then again I can actually preform off meta just fine as well. I've had a few people ask me questions, which I honestly don't mind about how I set up classes. I've always felt people asking questions is never inherently a bad thing as long as they don't do it in a nasty or sarcastic tone, it shows they're willing to listen and learn when they do. Worst I had was a guy that kept going "he's going 150+ tours and he didn't buy any upgrades"... Because I came in late as the timer was counting down, I took a second to get a drink or something and just forgot to pick up my upgrades before the match started, I ended up running back to spawn to get them real quick. The guy kept saying that the entire match even after I was fully upgraded and out preforming him. I pretty much never get kicked though from MvM regardless of how I play. Last time I was kicked was a month after Two Cities came out, and it was because I was a Brony and not even TF2 or MvM Related lol. Took them like, 3-4 waves to figure out if I was one or not too because I wouldn't answer when they asked if I were a Brony lol. Then I shrugged my shoulder, jump into another server and finish it no problems lol.
They are excited because they don't have even want to try playing the game. Honestly why bother playing a PvE mode when there is no challenge? It takes away the main fun of the gamemode.
Especially Mann Up mode. If you win with a hacker, you progressed in the tour but wasted $1. If you're playing the gamemode for profit then you're already wasting money. As a funny MvM-related story: during my last tour I got votekicked (didn't pass) by a several-hundred tour player for letting him kill himself (I was Engineer, he was Demo) by launching a Cow Mangler Soldier bot into himself from a poorly set trap. He thought performance was related to Aussie drop rate and said I was the worst Engie he's ever had. I switched to Pomson to spite him. We both finished our tour and he got a Mean Green pro shovel kit fab. I got an Aussie SMG. Game doesn't reward performance, it rewards shitposting.
Don't forget about F7 guys. Even if you can't kick them, you can at least report them.
If only reporting people did anything besides eventually giving them a year long ban from Valve servers. Ideally the more often you get kicked for cheating and get reported for cheating the fewer votes would be required to kick you from a game (brand new accounts with no other games on it besides TF2 should probably also require fewer votes to kick at first, until they go for a few games without any reports/kicks and they need the normal majority of votes to be kicked). Of course cheaters will probably create new accounts more quickly with this sort of system which would likely be an annoyance for Valve, but giving players the ability to more easily kick cheaters is probably worth it for the player base.
Joining «Your Achievement Progress» flash-mob: [T]https://pp.userapi.com/c837235/v837235179/5056a/0g0P5-m6RHY.jpg[/T] I've got 449 out of 520 achievements in these five years. Recent ones I got in two ways: using listening server with magic of bots and one Freak Fortress 2 server.
I actually managed to get the "heal 10,000 in one life" legit. It was just a matter of standing on the safe side of a chokepoint on thunder mountain offense and letting my teammates die instead of ever taking any kind of risk myself.

I know the 9/6 is dead and I can possibly start building my box fort from this post but noticed that Eric last played TF2 on September 6th and only has a bit under 5 hours from the last two weeks, possibly meaning it really just was a map test. Didn't check other profiles cause I'm too lazy. Link to EricS' profile: http://steamcommunity.com/id/paintrain

Considering all the maps rumors, that seems to be a safe bet.

Yknow looking at some old unused animations and the like and how frequently that stuff ends up being used, I wonder if we'll end up seeing those crate unboxing animations/and/or hat-insulting lines this update.
