A Valve employee went out of his way to debunk Dane on his "Game of Thrones" theory (you know, without actually providing evidence or anything). It's not a fake leak, it came from a white board in their offices. The date meant something, all they had to do was clarify that it didn't mean anything to us.

We can start discussing the ethics if we actually know its a bean we still got 4~ hours left.

I wouldn't really rule out that it was/is intended to release today. People just have to bare in mind that valve is notorious for flunking their own dates. If it doesn't release today then we know it was at minimum intended for today and is presumably ready to ship minus one reason. But that's under the assumption that it is planned for today.

Honestly now I think even if it was planned to be shipped/ officially announced today they [I]had[/I] to delay it only because Dane made the prediction and ohh boyy we all know how much they hate that stuff.
