Lots of people are burnt out from the wait though. I've been trying to keep expectations sane but I get a lot of negative ratings for it. I'd be happy if it dropped this week but I'm not getting that vibe.

Thats why its taking so long.

Given that the campaign is going to be akin to a "Choose your own adventure", my money's on Valve attempting to write a big, important story (despite the fact only 25-30% of their player base would actually end up reading it). You know how large of perfectionists they are, after all.

I think we would hear fair amount of murmurs and some activity from Valve before the update is out, I will bet nothing again this week.

Also that really isn't the case. Sometimes at work/school I like to browse old MUS thread just to see old expectations and the like, kinda like a time capsule, and Updates always drop out of nothing. The last thread I checked out was I think the one where MyM dropped, and there it was, someone saying "Expect nothing tonight" with tons of agrees and 10 minutes later, there it dropped. Same goes for Gun Mettle. So as always, we've got nothing to go by.

I've got £10.99 in my steam wallet and I am looking to buy some tf2 items (hats mostly) for engineer, sniper or pyro. I'm a fan of mining, or construction. Anybody got any suggestions? edit: I've managed to reinstall my steam mobile app, but it's still sending me in trade loopholes. Nice.

You should go to loadout.tf and try some cosmetics out, find some you like, then check their prices on backpack.tf.
