Not to hype anyone up, but in the updates dll's, there is this line : - optional uint32 client_session = 1; + optional uint32 legacy_client_session = 1; Legacy Client? I'm always trying to get information on things before reporting on them, so is this anything to look further into? There is a lot of "SteamDatagram" references in here.

I still want minigames while waiting for a match, like, imagen a 2D sidescroller with heavy trying to eat as many food items as he can while he has to dodge a sniper dot.

Unless SteamDB's git is bugged again, this is a substantial backend update. I need to discuss this with a few people, but there is a lot of changed networking stuff here.

Honestly, I don't even care that the updates taken this long to be worked on; I would much rather wait for an update that takes it's time and updates with everything working and thought out for a year than wait for an update that's poorly made and rushed that takes 4 months later to release from the last one. I haven't expected it to release for the past week's, since when it does come out, I can get excited or hyped then.

Note about the most important part of every tf2 update: localization files. For some reason, а festivizer description was updated in Russian localization and it now sounds better than the original one for me. "Used to festivize a weapon" ("Используется для украшения оружия") -> "Fills the weapon with the Smissmas spirit" ("Наполняет оружие духом Шмождества")

Finally things are actually happening.
