I don't quite get it, you'd think we'd be getting blog posts or a multi-day update for the Pyro update.

Isn't it unlikely that they'd just randomly release an update this "big" on one random night, with no prior "hype building blog posts"

But then again, this is Valve we're talking about.. So anything's possible, for better or worse.

Changing how server connection works seems like a risky thing to do right before a major update that involves matchmaking changes. Not that I know anything about networking.

Hey, I'm glad you liked it, but unfortunately we've made this change just so that the name and the description wouldn't be the same. This is purely cosmetic and exclusive for Russian language.

I'm familiar with the concept of Thursday releases, but I'm wondering why people started going off with dumb toxxes and how people were seemingly more crushed this week than the last.

I made a toxx on 9/6 saying if the update wasn't that day, i'd eat 5 sheets of rice paper with 9/6 written on them in red food coloring. people liked it, so i guess other people wanted attention

Also, I'm kinda worried about the upcoming update. A lot of people are hyping it to be the thing that either proves whether TF2 is dead or not, which is a bit much. Not saying it'll be bad, I'm sure it'll be a fine update, just definitely not worth all these months of waiting, save for TF2 announcing that they've created a pipeline for more community updates.
