I would like if server-side achievements would be implemented for TF2. In my opinion, the games which have achievements which give items should not have achievements which are hackable with SAM and etc. Would also really increase the feeling of worth of achievement items. Of course, the problem of achievement servers would stay, but that's something that could be looked in to too. But please Valve, don't add this to your massive To Do For Pyro Update™. I can live with the Pyro Update without that.
Since CSGO Is Valve's favorite game, I doubt it ;(
Last time I checked, CSGO isn't getting a spinoff card game.
Is there any chance for today?
The focus this week was the large CSGO update and apparently some server stuff. They'll likely get to it in the coming weeks.

Just had the funniest chat ever. I was defending the intel as sniper and I call "HELP" to a nearby Heavy, the heavy stares at me for a few seconds, says "DA" and throws me his minigun and leaves. I'm fucking dying. I love how you can have full-on conversations with other players just by using the chat commands. Also why am I late? Did someone do the skit before me?
Shoutout to Pass Time for being surprisingly fun when you have a Server with more than 3 people and a couple o friends
The middle of September is also highly unlikely
What does this even mean?
What does this even mean?
party on! *edit* I want to kill myself [t]https://i.imgur.com/3SQbcjN.jpg[/t] and I have a system where every 100 kills a weapon gets, I flog it. Guess it's time to wave goodbye to the Smalltown Bringdown [t]https://i.imgur.com/qdtDvqt.jpg[/t]
Gotta bet my disappointment on the 19th. Highly unlikely, but I like "19". It looks good. It's also a prime number. And it has 2 digits, 1(one) and 9(nine). 1+9+9 = 19 And september is almost gone... Have I told you that I like "19"? :hammered:
well the 19th is my birthday so it better be
Dota 2* Valve is slowly not caring about CS:GO.
Good.
Good.
No that's bad
sad realization: the TF Team has become so understaffed/inefficient that outside of Halloween, there's no "safe" time to estimate the release of a major update with gameplay-changing content after this one comes out :(
It's been like that for nearly three years anyways, the campaign updates were just copy and pasted from CS:Go for the most part, but didn't come with any of the interesting content that each campaign receives like missions... or interesting map sets. Seriously though what happened? They made you pay for them but then didn't support it the community like the GO campaigns
I cant help but think that the TF2 team isn't understaffed, they just dont also give a shit as well. (So what if someone visted them in person and they said other wise, of course they would) We're approaching a timeframe where a singular person could have had the update by now.

The TF2 campaigns came with missions and great maps.
Honestly I really hope that after this fiasco that the TF Team will just try to do smaller campaign updates every three months (the normal length of a campaign) alongside smaller, more frequent balancing adjustments and maybe 2 new maps for each one. Fuck off with these year-long waits for actual content and just make sure that TF2 always has shit to do.

However, I feel this is a cheap form of satisfaction compared to adding content to the game

Hardly anything, anything to the quality of the GO campaigns, they all used the same UI and didn't even work properly every time they released a new set. Oh totally worth this arbitrary price tag
Just to be sure I did some reading up and: TotH 2015: September 19 & 20 - Medal release: April 29 TotH 2017: September 16-18 - Medal release: August 29 Medals were always released a sizable chunk before the event - this time we are just a week away. Pretty sure we are going to get an Update next week. If it's the one we desire we'll see.
Something that would give us something fresh is maybe having a "Classic" playlist on the weekends that completely disables all items and has a classic map pool with the original 6 as long as some other classic style maps like goldrush, powerhouse, badwater, badlands etc You would have something to do if you get bored of the normal TF2 and want to just play the classic TF2.

Nice catch.

Why should we rely on them to continuously feed us new scenarios when we have Community Servers?

If Valve made their own version it would be immensely more popular.
on that note, I hope next Summer we get a going-to-space themed Heavy update with Asteroid coming out of beta and some nice community maps using Space assets

It's going to take forever to get all these themes in the game.
