No, but seriously. Dane "leaked" this date 4 days ago. Now, let's pretend it took...24 hours for them to see it. I highly doubt it took even this long, considering Valve's propensity for lurking and the fact that NINESIX is all that r/tf2 and Facepunch have been talking about for, oh, the past four days. it'd be pretty difficult not to pick up on it. And they wait until...literally the last 90 minutes before we can ring the bell to tell us nothing is coming? They couldn't do this yesterday? Or the day before? Guys, not to be the bearer of bad news here, but [B][I]IT WAS A FUCKING WHITEBOARD.[/I][/B] Everyone is acting like it was the new messiah or something, but keep in mind, having a whiteboard in an office where someone has the opportunity to walk through doesn't automatically mean they were trying to show the date. It could've meant anything really. Maybe they were choosing maps that day. Maybe they were going to start picking cosmetics that day. Maybe they were going to work on assets that day. What are whiteboards used for? Planning. It doesn't mean that they have to stop in their fucking tracks and go "Oh shit, Dane's coming, quick delete the date!" Even considering they they didn't deconfirm that date sooner, maybe they were too busy to notice, it is [U][B]5[/B][/U] people on the programming team after all. Maybe they were in crunch mode. Bottom line: Don't berate valve or Dane because of a fucking whiteboard someone happened to see
