I feel like the scope is too traditional for such a unique gun design. Maybe consider coming up with a more exotic scope.

Your concepts are getting pretty clean. I think it would be beneficial for you to start playing with proportions of the weapons a little more.
Look at how many of the weapons in game do it. Some are more subtle, but a little goes a long way.

I think prefer the bar below the scope, rather then the scope serving as the bar. Though I do prefer that new scope over the old one.

There's probably a way to model around the animations and make it, it just might have clipping issues.

Granted, the thing literally came out last year, but it has the design to be a good technological pistol, IMO, given some tweaks to make it seem like it was made by the engineer.

Polymer is probably a big nono, youd need to have it made of metal like it was machined and i have no idea how well the curves would look done like this.

I was almost thinking a laser type pistol similar to the capper, in the color style of, say the engineer's glove. I was mostly wondering if the shape of the gun would make something interesting.

Bearded axes are in fact widely used in modern woodworking,
Especially the Japanese carpentry axe this one was based on. You'd be surprised how much industrial feel little mass production can bring.

You got me there. As much as I spend my time modeling my texturing isn't quite there yet. But thank you for pointing that out anyway, I'll try and improve as always.

I must admit, when you put it that way you are right. The wrapping does make the axe look less of a tool and more like a viking weapon. But then again, i doubt the pyro would actually use this for woodworking.
